Joining us for this episode is Emily, our secretest co-creator and the reason we are all in this mess. Some childhood secrets are revealed and we discover the affiliations of the twice-sorted. The topic for this episode is a character SHHHPOTLIGHT on Professor Remus Lupin. We talk in depth about his character and parts left out of the books. Here is where the feelings come out to play. We love Lupin. Next, it's a Cast Away that's oddly familiar, a Hollow Slytherin, a game of Bean roulette, knightly underrated character(s), and a Marry/Boff/Kill that doubles our disappointment.

Honestly, we could not stop talking about this movie. We theorize, applaud, dissect, and gaze in wonder. Then it's a Marry/Boff/Kill with some new faces and our outro where we revive a forgotten segment. You have entered the SPOILER-ZONE and you've been thoroughly warned.

We reminisce about our road trip to the Harry Potter Festival in Philadelphia and we catch up on some Pottermore quizzes. Our Meet Your Podcasters question makes us pick a Harry Potter namesake (for a HUMAN baby, Laura). Next our Topic explores the differences and similarities between girls and boys reading the books. A more serious and thoughtful topic than normal, but don't worry... we get back to the nonsense soon enough! Instead of a quiz, we play a game of Russian Roulette with Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans. Then we have a reptilian Recast, a giant underrated character, a friendly Slytherin, and a Marry/Boff/Kill that will have you cursing.

We welcome a new-ish guest, Caitlin, to the podcast. It's legit this time!! Kate's still missing in the land of all work and no play but she'll be back on the next one! We discuss Caitlin's meandering journey into the world of Potter and also Halloween. Our Meet Your Podcasters question comes from a listener we met last night at the Cursed Child reading! Heeeey Kady, what's up? She asks us which wizarding shop (in Diagon Alley, Knockturn Alley, or Hogsmeade) would we own? Craig rolls in imaginary gold and takes a trip up Knockturn, Laura likes curios, Caitlin could make a fancy wig, and Katie is about the booze but doesn't think it through. Now on to our topic: Magical Tricks and Treats! We actually do some research on wizarding treats and discuss what we'd like to try. Then, we talk about wizard pranks (the tricks, you see) and how we'd treat our muggle neighbours. And of course, at the last moment, things get real adult... real quick. Then we have a quiz, a real life Recast, we find a socialite Slytherin, and we have a Marry/Boff/Kill that we try to Weasel out of. 1000 points to Ravenclaw!!

We open up about our fears of legally buying alcohol, get you excited for the Cursed Child Live Reading, Katie is a bad influence, and the one cool thing about Craig is revealed. Next we smoothly segue into the Meet Your Podcasters segment and talk about our Pottermore verified patronuses. Our experiences and results were strange and it's now certain that Katie is REALLY obsessed with Laura. Then we move on to our terrifying topic: The Ghosts and Ghouls of Harry Potter! It's a frightening trip into the rules of the dead, boggarts, what lies beneath a pigmy puff's fur, and way too much talk about beheadings. All in all, things are getting a little weird over here! We discuss which Hogwarts houses our guests aren't in and how they reluctantly got involved in Harry Potter.
