    Welcome to Mimosa Sisterhood – a podcast that celebrates women’s stories, past and present!

    Join Melissa each week as she pops bottles and shares stories of the diverse female experience; the good, the bad, the ugly, and the bubbly. We dive deep into topics like world history, feminism, mental health, society and culture, spirituality, entrepreneurship, creativity, personal development, and the power of Sisterhood. Sometimes we highlight the baddest babes in history and other times we interview the ‘Everyday Woman’ with an inspirational life story.     Fannie Lou Hamer & Misty Copeland: Decades Of History Jul 16, 2020

    Melissa is joined on the mic by Kara Michelle Liu, co-founder of Sunday Dinner Publishing, which highlights the personal stories of people of color. Kara tells the life story of Fannie Lou Hamer, a leader in the civil rights movement who fought endlessly for the voting rights of black people in Mississippi in the 60's.
