Podcast #093 - Pastille Day Mar 28, 2017

Show notes

Hello, turds!

Here is an episode of the Midnight Resistance podcast show! Andi's on it! There's a bit at the start you should probably listen to! And these games!:

Blaster Master Zero
Ghost Recon: Wildlands
Horizon: Zero Dawn
Mass Effect: Andromeda
Splatoon 2
Snipperclips
Battle Princess Madelyn
I Am Setsuna

Then listener questions! Bye! x

Podcast #092 - South-East by South-West Mar 12, 2017

Show notes

This episode has been recorded in topsy-turvy world, where the questions come before the What Have We Been Playing bit, for reasons that we explain on the show. Also Joe Skrebels is on it!

These games are discussed:

ApeOut
Extreme Warfare Revenge
NieR: Automata
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

At least two of these games are massive and brilliant, so it's a long episode. Sozzzz

Podcast #091 - Listener Questions Special Feb 26, 2017

Show notes

Since the last episode was cut short, here is an episode entirely dedicated to answering listener questions! Which is doubly fantastic because it takes me half the time to write this blurb.

Oh! Owen sounds a bit shite because he recorded from his webcam mic instead of his proper one, but other than that the episode is ALRIGHT.

Podcast #090 - It's Got Cypress Hill In It, It's For Grown-Ups Feb 13, 2017

Show notes

Does it bother you that we forcibly entertain you for more than two hours per fortnight (or one hour per week if correctly rationed)? Do you wish you could get your Midnight Resistance fix and then return to your thoughts of death and the abyss? Then shucks howdy, have we got an episode for you!

We had Sean McTiernan on, and something went wrong with his recording - it cut off before we got to the questions bit. This is a shame, because there was some good stuff in the second half. Although a few of you asked us to get McTiernan on again, so in a way this is basically all your fault?

So, aye. Sorry about that. We could maybe do a listener questions special next time to make up for it? Let us know on Twitter or Discord or whatever.

Anyway, you've still got about 80 minutes of this shite to get through:

Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
Pony Island
Hacknet
The Last Station
Watch Dogs 2
Furi
Superhot
Hitman

Hope that's aright! It properly fucking meanders at one point so it's a bit like the questions section anyway.

Please don't leave us. Please!

Podcast #089 - You're Getting Them To Fuck, Sean Feb 05, 2017

Show notes

It's a week late, but it's quite good.

Gareth Dutton joins us and we talk about these:

Fire Emblem: Awakening
Fire Emblem: Conquest
For Honor
Elite: Dangerous
Total Warhammer
Final Fantasy XV
Pokémon Go
[GARY TALKS ABOUT LOADS OF GAMES]
Super Mario Bros speedrunning
Bravely Default
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds

Then: questions.

Podcast #088 - Joys Con Jan 14, 2017

Show notes

Hello!

It's Chris here, editing this episode because Sean's off sampling the delights of Nintendo's cornucopia of HD Rumble, the Nintendo Switch.

I don't know what any of these buttons do, so let me tell you what we talked about:

Switch (obvs)
Forza Horizon 3
Nier Automata
Civ 6
Owlboy
Odin Sphere

Then it's questions and a protracted end. If you want to join the Discord you can do that HERE

Laters babes!
