The Healing Room: How Do Healers Heal Themselves? Sep 11, 2019
    Show notes

How do people in the healing profession work on their own healing? Are they the proverbial "worst patient" when it comes to their own healing? How hard is it for the shaman (known as the wounded healer) to receive their own healing?
Let's start by acknowledging that most healers or shamans do not see themselves as "healers". They help facilitate healing - your healing. They are a skilled practitioner in the healing arts guiding their clients or patients towards their own healing powers. As an example, they do not run around telling everyone who will listen that they are Healed and a Healer nor would they state they have Healed anyone. This is called arrogance which is not the way of any shaman.
Join Martha Juchnowski and Kristin Walker as they discuss what it means to be in the healing arts and their own journeys with receiving their own healing.
Martha is a registered nurse, psychic medium, and spiritual healing facilitator.

Walking Between Worlds with Athena Demetrios Aug 27, 2019
    Show notes

Join author, channel, and medium Athena Demetrios for a discussion about healing and what it means to walk between two worlds.
    About Athena:
In 1979, a strange series of events became an Initiation which swiftly opened doorways into other dimensions. Although I did not understand it at the time, I was being awakened by the Ascended Master Saint Germain to the Cosmic Laws of the Universe. Beginning the journey inward, connecting to my God Self, 37 years later I remain both a devoted student and Teacher of Light. Upon occasion, various Masters will bring forth messages both verbally and in the written word. In the early eighties, through another sequence of mysterious events, I crossed paths and encountered my “Mystical Muse” James Martin Peebles (1822-1922). Dr. Peebles informed me of a past life connection we shared as we lectured and worked together on several projects in the 1800’s during the Spiritualist movement. This information has been documented. I have come to understand my fascination and contact with the spirit world in this life is a continuation of my last lifetime as a medium, author and trance-channel Mary T. Longley. In this life, as a medium, I see spirit physically. At times they will appear to give messages to loved ones or I am led to specific locations to assist them in crossing over. I have been channeling Dr. Peebles for over 27 years. When Dr. Peebles communicates, “Sparks of Light and Love fly in all directions!” Athena studied with Thomas Jacobson and International Channeling Teacher Shawn Randall for over ten years. Athena, a certified channeling teacher makes her home in Northern California, frequently travels, facilitating workshops in Higher Consciousness while continuing to provide service worldwide as a Channel.

Love and Time with Dr. Julia Mossbridge Aug 22, 2019
    Show notes

Join Kristin and Dr. Julia Mossbridge as they discuss what truly is important in life: Love and Time. What's important about those two things is truly our perception of both.
In addition to being the founder and research director of Mossbridge Institute, LLC, Dr. Mossbridge is a Visiting Scholar in the Psychology Department at Northwestern University, a Fellow at the Institute of Noetic Sciences, the Science Director at Focus@Will Labs, and an Associated Professor in Integral and Transpersonal Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies.
Her focus is on teaching and learning about love and time, and she pursues this focus by speaking about love and time, leading projects, conducting research, and coaching technology executives and engineers.
She is currently engaged in four love-centered projects: 1) LOVING AIs, a project designed to bring unconditional love into artificial intelligence (especially artificial general intelligence), 2) a project in which she is examining whether hypnosis can be used to induce a state of unconditional love, 3) The Calling, her current book project about how love gets translated into life purpose, and 4) consciously bringing unconditional love into the lives of the tech workers and executives she coaches.
Dr. Mossbridge's interest in how time is perceived by unconscious and conscious processes has led her to examine aspects of both cognitive and perceptual timing (e.g., order effects on reading comprehension, perceptual integration across senses) as well as controversial reverse-temporal effects (covered in ABC News 20/20, Wall Street Journal Ideas Market, Fox News and other mainstream media outlets). She is also the 2014 winner of the Charles Honorton Integrative Contributions award for this work. She is currently working with bestselling author Theresa Cheung on a book related to this work, The Premonition Code, to be released in October 2018 from Watkins Media.
Julia's Ph.D. in Communication Sciences and Disorders is from Northwestern University, her M.A. in Neuroscience is from the University of California at San Francisco, and she received her B.A. with highest honors in neuroscience from Oberlin College. She also invented and patented Choice Compass, a physiologically based decision-making app. A peer reviewer for Brain Research, Psychological Bulletin, Perception, Cognition, PLoS One, Explore, and Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, Dr. Mossbridge received funding from the National Institutes of Health in her role as post-doctoral member of the Psychology Department at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. Dr. Mossbridge is also the author of Unfolding: The Perpetual Science of Your Soul's Work (New World Library, 2002) and The Garden: An Inside Experiment. She is also the co-author, with Imants Baruss, of Transcendent Mind: Re-thinking the Science of Consciousness.
