New Zealand health experts support legalisation of cannabis

Thailand's health minister plants some cannabis plants

Cops in UK make 2 arrests in relation to the 17 girls hospitalised for cannabis edibles.

In the North of Ireland a man was in court in connection to the £1Milion of cannabis found on the motorway.

In the republic the recent €1.5Million drug seizure was linked to a Lithuanian crime gang that also are involved in human trafficking.

Then to finish we look at a recent trailer to an documentary that looks at cannabis in Ireland called "Fresh Chats"

A recent study published that shows how cannabis can help alleviate the symptoms of chronic bowel disease.

Gardai in Meath make a €1.5Million drug raid

Gardai in Cork catch 2 people in the middle of a drug deal and take over €13000 of cocaine and cannabis from them.

A court in Louth sentences a Vietnamese man to 2 years in prison for €300000 of cannabis plants

In Dundalk gardai find €23000 of cannabis plants.

Jim was one of if not the first person to begin selling CBD Flowers in Ireland. In early 2019 Jim's store was raided by gardai because they caught someone with the flower and they were told it was bought there.

In France 80 MPs sign an open letter against cannabis legalisation.

In Germany they expect to import over 28Tonnes of medicinal cannabis this year.

Uruguay export the worlds largest ever legal, high THC cannabis export to Portugal but the importer remains a mystery.

Then in Mexico Cannabis activists have created a community garden filled with cannabis plants next to the Senate buildings.

Ireland then where our Gardai seized over €4Million from the crime gang known as "The Family".

The Kinehans also make the news after its emerged they paid off Spanish police officers.

Spanish authorities seize 30 tonnes of hash

Spanish government say there is not enough evidence to support medicinal cannabis.

In Mexico government will vote on a cannabis legalisation bill for December.

In California our friends @Foxworthy Farms had an unfortunate encounter with the wildfires in their area and as a result have lost their house.

In Malaysia a man is sentenced to death for 208g of cannabis. Then in New Zealand dr's a speaking out against the medical associations position on the upcoming cannabis legalisation vote.

In the Uk a cannabis dealer was bust by a drug dog at a train station, a pensioner gets caught with £2000 of cannabis and the eight most wanted man in the UK is a cannabis dealer.

Finishing up then with a small report on the Irish cannabis scene.

In Cork €40000 Cannabis herb siezed. In Laois a 29 year old student faces court for 5 grams of cannabis and finally in Spancilhill €100000 of cocaine found with 2 cannabis plants.

In this episode of the Martins World Podcast I had the pleasure of interviewing Clark French the founder of the UPA. We get to talk about why and when Clark started campaigning for medicinal Cannabis , some of his most memorable moments campaigning and some of whats to come in the UK regarding medicinal cannabis, including the "Cancard".

"Clark French is an MS patient who treats his symptoms with cannabis. Clark has replaced all pharmaceutical drugs saving the NHS up to £30,000 a year. Founder of the United Patients Alliance, Clark campaigns tirelessly for access to cannabis as a medicine. The United Patients alliance seeks to advance legal access to cannabis therapeutics in the UK. The United Patients Alliance was founded to represent the interests of these patients and to call attention to the injustice of prosecuting individuals for treating their chronic conditions with cannabis. Some of the most vulnerable members of our society face up to fourteen years in prison for consuming a medicine that is legal across North America and Europe"

In this episode of Martins World I interview John O Regan who is up in court on the 22nd of September on charges for growing, possessing and selling Cannabis. If convicted and sent to prison for this he has vowed to begin a hunger strike until he is released.
