Vani Devi chants "Shivaya Parameshwaraya" during a long Saturday evening satsang at Yoga Vidya Bad Meinberg, Germany. This Shiva kirtan is sung by Vani Devi in a very meditative way, sung in a beautiful antiphon. The text of this kirtan is: Shivaya Parameshwaraya Om Namah Chandrashekharaya Bhavaya Bhavaya Guna Sambhavaya Om Namah Shiva Tandavaya - Translated into English it means: "I bow to Shiva, the supreme god who wears the crescent moon on his forehead. I bow to Shiva, who creates and destroys through his dance the properties of nature (gunas)."

Om Aim Hrim Klim Chamundaye Viche Namaha

This mantra is referred in Yoga Vidya tradition as shakti mantra. It harmonizes and energizes all the chakras (energy centers in the astral body). Aim is the bija mantra of Saraswati. Hrim is the Bija Mantra of Durga, Klim is the bija mantra of Lakshmi. Chamunda is a name of Kali.

At the end of a 4-week yoga teacher training at Yoga Vidya Bad Meinberg, the fresh graduated yoga teachers and yoga teacher present themself with a kirtan or mantra chanting, the Devi Devi Devi: Jagan Mohini Devi Devi Devi Jagan Mohini Devi Devi Devi Chandrika Devi Chandamunda Harini Ambike Chamundeshwari Devi.
