    Shankari chants during a Yoga Vidya Satsang the fifth verse of the Gajananam from the Dhyana Shlokas – in the Yoga Vidya Kirtan Songbook you'll find it as number 603: Om Sarva Mangala Māngalye Shive Sarvārtha Sādhike Sharanye Tryambake Gauri Nārāyani Namostute.

    In English it means: Worship the three-eyed mother Narayani. She brings you bliss and fulfills all wishes of the seeker (both material and spiritual).

    Show notes Narendra sings in a saturday evening satsang the mantra Jaya Radha Madhava, a kirtan for devotion of Lord Krishna, the god, who stands for bliss and joy. His purpose is to instate and reinstate the devine order on earth. To sing along you can find this mantra in the Yoga Vidya Kirtan Songbook under the number 166: Jaya Rādhā Mādhava Kunjabihāri Jaya Gopijanavallabha Girivaradhāri Yashodanandana brajajanaranjana Yamunātīravanachāri. Narendra ends the bhajan with the Maha Mantra, the Hare Rama, Hare Krishna. Have fun singing along.

A lovely vedantic hymn that explains our true nature: Absolute Existence, Absolute Bliss, Absolute Knowledge, Pure Consciousness, the stainless and guiltfree observer of All. I am one with the divine. You can find it in the Yoga Vidya Kirtan Songbook as No. To sing along is here the text: Sacharā Chara Pari Pūrna Shivoham Nityānanda Swarūpa Shivoham Ānandoham Ānandoham Ānandam Brahm Ānandam Sākshi Chaitanya Kutasthoham Nityā Nitya Swarūpa Shivoham This mantra "Sachara Chara Pari Purna Shivoham Nityananda Swarupa Shivoham" means: "I am purna, wealth, accomplishment with, from the transcendent" Shivoham: I am Shiva. "Shiva" means literally "the auspicious one". "Shiva" means, too, loving and kind. Deep inside I am - and everyone else - this auspicious, this Loving, the good and the transcendental. I am Nitya, the eternal.
