    Mini-Episode: It's Not a Political Issue, It's a Moral Issue Jul 25, 2019
    Show notes

Political issues. If you're like most people, you're tired of hearing about them.

But here’s the catch, many of the issues we see in the political arena today aren’t about our political opinions, or who we vote for at the voting box, they are about moral problems, beliefs, and what is morally acceptable.

In this episode Connor looks at why people have such a hard time differentiating between moral and political issues, how to address these conversations, and why this is such a crucial distinction.

Anonymous Man - Facing PTSD, Childhood Trauma, and How Lack of Discipline Impacts Relationships Jul 22, 2019
    Show notes

In this episode, Connor interviews a former Army veteran who spent time in Afghanistan in the EOD unit (explosive ordnance disposal). His job was to go out into the field and support clearing bomb, potential explosive, and hazards so the rest of the command could travel freely.

This episode digs into a lot. The guest talks about coming back from war with PTSD, the impact it had on his marriage, the infidelity, divorce, and childhood abuse he witnessed between his mother and father.

AND it dives into the light that has kept him going through it all: his children and his mission to heal.

This episode is powerful and sheds light on how men can break the cycle of passing on trauma from their pasts, heal from their dysfunction, and take the next step on the road to building a better future for them, their families, and the world around them.

Mini-Episode: How To Be More Accountable Jul 18, 2019
    Show notes

Ah yes, accountability. The thing we all want to have and loath to see personal development gurus who seem to have.

Here’s the deal - accountability is something YOU have to do. Its an essential life skill. You can only outsource, delegate, and offload so much to the people around you… eventually, you will have to be accountable for the things in your life. Some people might pay for other people to hold you accountable, but this episode (and the work I do) is meant to teach you HOW to be accountable.

All of the work I do is meant to teach you how to be more self-led, and thats what this episode is really about.

Paul Ollinger - Navigating transition, The Rise Of Facebook, And Modern Comedy Jul 15, 2019
    Show notes

Paul was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia and had a traditional educational experience—went to college, got an Ivy League MBA, then joined the work force with $100k worth of school debt. However, after achieving success in the corporate world (he was one of the first 250 employees of Facebook as VP, West Coast Sales), he finally decided it was time to give in to his true passion. So, he left the high paying tech field behind and dove into the uncharted waters of… stand up comedy.

Today, Paul’s comedy career takes him to clubs and corporate events all over North America, where he has opened for top comics like Dave Attell, Norm Macdonald, and Bill Burr. He just recently headlined Carolines on Broadway and in December, Paul headlined the West Side Comedy Club in New York City and is an official selection of the most recent Laughing Skull, Asheville, Cleveland, and North Carolina Comedy Festivals.

When he isn’t touring comedy clubs, he is the host of his recently launched podcast, Crazy Money, in which he interviews entrepreneurs, celebrities, authors, and artists with a humorous perspective on money, wealth and careers. The show focuses on how we think about and live with money, as a society and as individuals.
