    Hey, I’m Alexia – mom and entrepreneur. For years, fear and worry consumed me as I tried to create success a thousand different ways with an online business. Working harder and trying yet another business strategy wasn’t working.

    Finally, I realized mindset was the culprit keeping me stuck. I was letting my thoughts, like mom guilt and fear of failure, run my life. If I wanted to be successful, I needed to understand how mindset worked- but from a Biblical perspective.

    I implemented a strategy for tackling all of my mindset blocks in a way that’s simple, yet powerful and brings me ever closer to God. As I surrendered my thoughts to Him, I found peace regardless of my business success and joy as I happily tended to both my family and my business.

    2020 Reflection and Looking Forward to What God is Doing in Your Business in 2021 Dec 30, 2020

    As we wrap up 2020, there’s a tendency to think that 2021 is going to be magically better than 2020 or if we follow what the world is saying, then we’ll think that nothing good came of 2020. But we know that God can do good and amazing things no matter what the circumstances look like. As we come to the end of the year, it’s a habit to look forward to the next year and start planning and dreaming all of the things that we can do. While this is good and fun, I want to encourage you to really get your mind in the right place before you start all the planning for next year. Make sure you’re co-creating these goals with God and see where He really wants you to go. It might not be where you’ve got in mind.

    • Make sure you’re thinking of your business as an actual business looking at profit and loss. Being a good steward of your money and resources is something God put you in charge of when He called you to have a business.
    • Embrace that He called you to be an entrepreneur, so own it.

    • Choose a word of the year as an overarching mood for your year coming up
    • Map out plans for how you might achieve these goals, but don’t plan to control the situation.

    Recognizing when God is calling you and how to say YES Dec 23, 2020

    In this episode, we’re going to talk about why you might not be fully stepping into the calling God has for you.

    There can be a variety of reasons including not even knowing if God is calling you to start a business or not. When we aren’t clear on how God speaks to us, we often miss it when He does.

    For others, you know that God has put something big on your heart, but you’re coming face to face with all sorts of doubts and worries around it. Whichever place you’re in, this episode is going to help you recognize that God is calling you (and how to see it), where you might be turning away from your calling, and how you can use mentorship and support to be in obedience to what God is asking you to do in this season.

    Stepping boldly where God is calling you (even if it's a whole new life and others doubt you) Dec 05, 2020

    Sometimes God will ask you to switch gears in life to be someone you've never been before. Always a career woman and now being called to be home with the kids. Always a work-a-holic and now striving for balance. Well meaning people around you might doubt the change. You have the choice to either get up and walk to let your old ways define who you are even though God is calling you to change your life by doing something you've never been able to do before. If He's calling you, then He will empower you.

    Welcome to the Mama with a calling podcast where we’re going to dive into what it looks like to have God call you to completely pivot in life from career woman to online entrepreneur.

    Facing and overcoming fears comes with asking some hard questions around what it really means to become an entrepreneur and what it looks like to step out in faith and trust where God is leading you.

    This is why I wanted to do this show - to help you take a deep dive into these questions, the fears that come up, why you think the things you do and how to overcome those fears with truths from the bible mixed with practical tips based on how the brain works.

    On this podcast, we’ll talk about all things around entrepreneurship and what it looks like as a Christian pursuing this calling, mom life, productivity, and truly how to just keep going even when things get tough or boring or whatever comes up for you. The biblical insights that I use to keep myself going are things I’ll be sharing with you as well.     One Simple Thing You Can Do To Recharge and Reconnect with God When Things Feel Crazy Oct 21, 2020

    Life can already feel chaotic as a mom with all the to-dos, and then throw in being an entrepreneur, and it can be exhausting. Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stressed, and burnt out are real issues that so many mom entrepreneurs face.     Overcoming Impostor Syndrome As You Pursue Your Calling Sep 15, 2020

    Are you feeling that God is calling you to do something big and scary in your life, but you’re resisting it big time? It feels like you’re not the right person for the job or that it’s a crazy idea or that you can’t possibly have the skills needed.

    In today’s episode, we’re going to talk about how when God calls you to do something, you can take comfort in knowing that He’s with you through it all. He’s prepared you for this specific mission, and he called you out of all people for a reason.

    To help with impostor syndrome, we’re going to take a look at the story of Moses and the burning bush in a new light. From this story, we can see how to take comfort even when we’re doubting our abilities to do what we know we’re being called to do.

    The story for this episode comes from Exodus 3:1 - 4:17 NLT.

    • Moses denies God’s call on his life
    • God assures Moses over and over
    • When God chooses someone, He really means that person is the one. There’s not a replacement person for the job.
    • Amazing things happen when you listen to the calling from God. Overcoming the fear and doubt is part of the process. On the other side is a closer connection with God and being able to see how God uses your obedience for good.
    • If God is calling you, he has prepared you and He is with you. He already knows the outcome. You just have to act.

    Finding the Lessons in the Chaos Aug 28, 2020

    Are you finding yourself in a place of uncertainty with everything going on right now? If you’re feeling like things are falling apart or chaotic and feel like you aren’t sure what you should do or why any of this is happening, then this episode is for you.

    Fear is probably the biggest emotion getting in the way of you taking action toward your dream of being an entrepreneur.
