This year’s Kwanzaa theme is “Kwanzaa and the well-being of the world: living and uplifting the seven principles” and Mark talks with the creator, Pan-African activist and academic Dr. Maulana Karenga, to welcome the holiday and give context to the holiday’s purpose.
