In case you haven’t heard, Instagram has announced that the app is not going to prioritize photo sharing. This major Instagram announcement continues to say that the app is going to focus on video, shopping, messaging, and creators instead. Before you freak out and hit the panic button, these changes aren’t as bad as you might think. In today’s episode, I am sharing how these changes are actually giving us MORE opportunities to connect with our audiences in RICH, high-context ways. I explain how focusing on video content can increase your visibility (and why that’s a good thing), how shopping and messaging can play into your overall strategy, and why prioritizing creators is Instagram’s way of putting more money in your pocket. In case you’re still freaking out, this announcement doesn’t mean that you can’t (or shouldn’t) keep sharing photos. I want to normalize being successful AF, having an amazing life, a bomb business, and having clients that are killing it while also being an imperfect human that struggles.
