Show notes
If you haven’t listened to Part 1 of our Universal Orlando trip recap, be sure to go back and check it out first! We covered our stay at the Stella Nova Resort and our first time back in the Universal parks in quite some time. Now, in Part 2, we’re diving into one of the best parts of the trip—the food!
Universal Orlando’s Mardi Gras celebration is one of the best seasonal events, and this year’s Food and Beverage Booths did not disappoint! We’re breaking down some of our favorite dishes—all packed with bold flavors. But that was just the beginning! We traveled the world through our taste buds with delicious options from Canada, China, Colombia, France, Germany, India, Italy, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. From Margherita Poutine to Spicy Szechuan Chicken Bites, Quesabirria, and Beignets, there was no shortage of incredible flavors to try.
Of course, we couldn’t pass up the chance to stop by Wailulu Bar & Grill at Disney for a laid-back meal. And then, we took things to another level—literally—with a trip to Space 220 at EPCOT! This immersive dining experience takes you 220 miles above Earth, offering stunning views of space while you enjoy a meal unlike any other. But is the food as impressive as the setting? We’ll give you the full breakdown of what we ordered, our overall thoughts, and whether this is a must-do or just a one-and-done experience.
From bold Cajun flavors to futuristic fine dining, this episode is packed with fun food reviews, park insights, and plenty of great stories from our trip. Tune in to hear all about our Mardi Gras food crawl, unique dining experiences, and our top picks for what you should try on your next visit!
