Jambeaux, everyone!!! Welcome to another episode of the Magic Our Way podcast. We appreciate you listening to our show and we hope it brings a smile to your face. Factoid of the day: Walt Disney himself is not cryogenically frozen.

In the Hub, we introduce our first compare and contrast show. During Mardi Gras week of 2014, Kevin had the opportunity to take a 5 day cruise on the Carnival Triumph. This was his first experience on a Carnival “funship” and this was his second experience on a cruise ever. The first time he was on a cruise ship was during his honeymoon with the Disney Cruise Line aboard this Disney Wonder (and there were only two Disney ships back then, boys and girls, the other being the Magic). And, it just so happens that the Disney Wonder was in port in Cozumel at the same time the Carnival Triumph was in Cozumel. Kevin compares his two experiences: the Disney Wonder back in 2007 and the Carnival Triumph in 2014. He had wonderful times with both companies. He is not endorsed by Disney or Carnival. This is just a friendly comparison between a veteran cruise ship company (Carnival Cruise Lines est. 1972) and the relatively new kid on the block (Disney Cruise Line est. 1994). If you remember, back before the Disney Cruise Line came into existence, Disney characters could be found on Premier Cruise Line’s Big Red Boat.

In the Hub, we do some backseat imagineering. We discuss a question posed by one of our Twitter followers: how do you think Frozen should be introduced into the parks? One of the biggest Disney Animated movies to hit the box office in a while is sure to find a home in the parks in a substantial way someday. We explore some ideas on how we would do it. Also, we talk about how we would redo the Hollywood Studios. This is a park that has kind of lost its identity in a similar way as EPCOT Center’s Future World. We discuss things that we would do to make the Studios better such as reorganizing the lands, attractions, etc.

MOW Field Report #009 - It's Our First Listener Field Report!!! Feb 20, 2014

Jambeaux, everyone!!! We are continuing our series of podcasts on our same feed called the Magic Our Way Field Reports. To remind the listener, these shows will not be a regular segment due to the fact that these are podcasts we record straight on location at a Disney park or Disney event. You can call it our "on location" podcasts. We grab the portable studio and record anything from a mini trip report or attraction audio or interviews.

On this particular show, we feature one of you, the listener. This is a new feature that we are starting up that will allow you to get more involved in talking all things Disney with us. This episode features Sean from Orlando. He talks about his opinions regarding the new Fastpass+ system and he offers some park audio. You will get a chance to listen to a ride-through of the Test Track 2.0 and also get a chance to listen to the Epcot rope drop ceremony. MOW #032 - Disney Stuff and Listener Stuff Feb 12, 2014

This week’s show is another one of our favorite mashups of Disney stuff: OUR BIG QUEUE SHOW, where we talk about anything and everything that has come across our path since the last time we sat down and recorded a show. this week’s show is basically in two parts.

Firstly, we do a lot of shout outs to our listeners who feed us information and to a fellow podcaster who has returned to the Disney fan universe. Yes, we welcome back one of Kevin’s favorite podcasts, Netcot. It was one of the first shows Kevin listened to when he first discovered the Disney podcast community. Also, we have a listener Sean who took time to send us and email AND a recording of his Fastpass + experience in Epcot with his children. Also, one of our listener’s, Lee, started his own Disney travel agency, Just A Dream Away Travel Agency. We congratulate him on his accomplishment. We introduce a new way for our listeners to get involved with the show and we address you Recording Day Questions!!! Also, we discuss where in New Orleans one can find a Dole Whip.

Secondly, we talk about numerous topics that have come up since our last recording. Danny surprises Kevin with a new game called, the Top 7 Stacy-isms where he has to guess out of a line up of three answers which is not the real Stacy-ism. Kevin then shares something personal regarding the Little Mermaid movie; he has been wanting to get this off his chest for a while now. We also talk about ABC’s firing of the Dancing With the Stars Orchestra. World Showcase waterfront property is slowly becoming hard to come by. Disney is starting to put waterfront buildings in the country pavilions. How do you like this complete enclosure by the countries?

MOW #026 - The Long Lost 2013 Halloween show a.k.a. the Haunted Mansion Show Feb 11, 2014

This week’s show is our long lost, finally released Halloween Show. This was originally supposed to be released before Halloween of 2013, but due to life and production time, it took us a awhile to get everything going. But, we figured we would release it now than never release it at all. We really enjoyed doing this episode and we wanted to share with our audience.

Anyway, Danny and I play a little Truth or False game utilizing facts from Danny’s favorite ride, The Haunted Mansion. Then, we discuss our picks for the scariest rides in Disney World. And lastly, We talk about which attractions we thought would be best for having a Halloween overlay.

MOW #031 - Listener Emails, Our First Disney Podcast Trip report, & Twitter Questions Jan 25, 2014

On this week’s show, we discuss a myriad of topics all of which center around our Trip Report for our First Podcast Trip to the World!!! We lead off the show and give our listeners a hearty Asante Sana as we read and respond to their emails. Thank you to each and every one of you that have written in so far.

Secondly, we talk about our trip down to the World together for the first time. We tried to cover things that we didn’t cover in the Field Reports and also embellish on the things we brought up on our Field Reports. There were a lot of firsts for us during this trip which really helped to make this trip special. We discuss Kevin’s experience with letting Disney chauffeur him around the property. The backstory is that Kevin usually has a car while in Disney World and does enjoy driving around property. Is it a control issue? Could be. We also go into Danny’s take on Disney transportation in reference to DVC privileges. HAHAHA! Next we offer our first impressions of the Art of Animation Resort, a place neither of us have ever stayed. We then talk about our stay at the Bay Lake Towers, specifically the showers. Then, Danny relates his experience watching the Norway movie for the first time. We got stuck on Primeval Whirl!!! Guano Joe and The Flights of Wonder: love this show and you would be remiss if you missed it. We give a state of the Soarin’ attraction address. We visit Splitsville and give our first impressions of it. I took Danny to the Top of the World lounge at Bay Lake Towers. Kevin finally gets in to the Be Our Guest Restaurant and has a great experience. Lastly, we talk about the Disneyland App. If you are looking for a good mobile Disney fix, this app is definitely the way to go. It reminds us of the Walt Disney World Explorer computer game.

Finally, we started a new thing on our show. We tweeted out that we were recording and we wanted you, the listener, to shoot us questions during the recording.
