The Finisher
Last night on the Late Show, host Stephen Colbert and action star Joe Mangianello of the movie version on Magic Mike and Magic Mike XXL fame, not this here podcast version of Magic Mics (but hey Joe if you want on the show just get at me) waxed poetic all about their nerdy exploits on stuff like The Hobbit, the Ironlance novels, growing up dorky, and of course their mutual love of Dungeons & Dragons. We all know that being a big dork is cool now, what with comic books dominating the box office, werewolves and vampires and monsters all over TV, and scientists and physicists being the new rock stars. So now that it's our time to shine, fellow dweebs, what's the next bridge for Magic to cross in the completion of the Geek that shall inherit the Earth?
