    Ep. 36 The Beast Part 2 Oct 29, 2021
    Show notes

A lot of us have heard the phrase “The mark of The beast” but we are not sure as to what it is, or where this reference comes from. Today, I’d like for us to continue our exploration of Daniel’s dream and visions…along with the vision of John, The disciple of Jesus, who wrote the Book “Revelation”.

Things aren’t so scary, when you know that there is a happy ending. Well, God actually lets us in on the end of the story of man, and it ends great for those who belong to him. He also lets us know of somethings that will happen in between, that may not be so good. However, evil will not continue forever, because it too has limits that God has subjected it to. So when we allow God to be our refuge (the place where we retreat) and our fortress (the place we advance from) then we will have a front-row seat to the victory He has ruled for us.

My handsome hubby Stace joins me today, for this exciting topic.

    Scripture Memory:

    Psa. 91:2

    I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;

My God, in Him I will trust.”

Ep. 35 The Beast... A Different Kind of Horn Oct 22, 2021
    Show notes

Sometimes what is evil can appear to be so big. The boast that it makes, can seem like a boom, and we are sometimes tempted to pullback because of fear. But in reality this “little horn”, it is nothing compared to the strength and might of God! The difference between the two is so astronomical, that one day, I think we’ll look back and shake our heads saying “That’s all it really was?…I was scared of that?” God has a way of granting us victory out of what looks like defeat.

In the meantime, let’s make our boast in the one who created the Heavens, The earth and everything within them.

Today, we’ll explore a vision Daniel saw…could we be living in the times predicted?

My handsome Hubby Stace is back with me as we explore this topic, along with Lovafide Lovenotes.

    Scripture Memory Psalm 89:17

"For You are the glory of their strength,

And in Your favor our horn is exalted."

Ep. 34 Shut The Mouths Of Lions Oct 15, 2021
    Show notes

Lions are not always the creatures that we see at the zoo or on a safari. Sometimes it’s the people, the system, the agendas. Have you ever been in a situation where you felt like someone was trying to throw you to the lions? I mean, the more you excelled, the more bent they were on bringing you down?

Well, let’s look to the scriptures and glean from the adventures of Daniel. His haters were bent on devising a plan to do him in. Let’s check the record to see what God did for him, and trust that He can do the same for us.

My sister Karenane is helping me share a Lovafide Lovenote

    Scripture Memory: Romans 12:19a

Ep. 33 Man Of His Word Oct 08, 2021
    Show notes

Let me ask you something, Have you ever swore to your own hurt and didn’t change? I mean, Have you ever promised to do something, give something, be somewhere? And at the time you promised it, you saw no conflict, everything was fine. Until a little later, you discovered that the conflict was huge! This was going to be way more costly than you had originally imagined; and It would be easier on you, if you could just get out of it. Well, I’ve been there!! So what would Jesus do? Let’s find out!

My Hubby Stace and My sister girl Karen are both my guest today! They lend their insight, humor and wisdom as we explore the scriptures, and embark on our memory verse! There’s never a dull moment!

    Scripture Memory: Psalm 91: 1

He who dwells, in the secret place, of the Most High

Shall abide, under the shadow, of the Almighty.

Ep. 32 Your Body Is A Temple Oct 01, 2021
    Show notes

It’s interesting to think that our bodies could be referred to as a Temple. I mean, aren’t temples sacred places where people meet with God, worship, repent, fellowship, sacrifice, and praise? Aren’t temples supposed to house the Holy? Exactly. Although we are flesh and blood, If we have received Christ into our lives…He becomes our life. We are now carrying Him on the inside, which makes us a Temple for the Holiest of Holy.

When I think of it that way, I must now strongly consider what I do and how I take care of this body of mine. There are certain things that I will not consume or participate in, because I respect The God that resides on the inside; and there are some things that I will now definitely do. I am not him, but I house His Spirit and His spirit is Holy (set apart as Sacred, Like No other).

Hang with me, as we dig a little deeper into the scriptures to see what God has to say about The temple.

My handsome Hubby Stace is back for some fun Lovenotes and encouragement. He also helps me teach the

Scripture Memory verse: 1 Corinthians 6:19a (NIV)

Ep. 31 God Is My Judge Sep 24, 2021
    Show notes

People are always saying “Don’t judge me!” Most of the time meaning, “Don’t hold me to a standard, or tell me a consequence” Lol! But there is a Judge who is always right in His standards, and He always gives grace to those who admit where they have failed and are asking for help. God is also the one who has given us gifts and talents and will hold us accountable as to how we have used them.

Daniel served many Heads of State and governments with the gifts he had been given. As His role changed from time to time, as his gifts continued to mature and expand. However, Regardless of how wicked or righteous the ruler may have been, Daniel’s character of excellence and integrity remained the same. He was living up to His name which means “God is My Judge”

Let’s take some Lovenotes from this real life hero of old and see how we can still apply these principles to our own lives.

This episode also contains some of My “Dear Young Artist” tips for success. The knowledge is transferable.

    Scripture Memory:

    Proverbs 18:16

"A man’s gift makes room for him and brings him before the great."

Ep. 30 The Right Answer in a Wrong Culture Sep 17, 2021
    Show notes

Have you ever had the right answer and according to some, it still put you in the wrong? Have you ever been tempted to keep the truth to yourself because it would make you unpopular, or could cost you your life? Well, I want to search the scriptures and check in on one of our hero’s in the faith and see how he handled his right answer, in the wrong culture.

Daniel knew he had heard from God, but would he have the courage needed to deliver it to the King?

Lean in as we explore this Lovenote together.

    Scripture Memory:

    Gal. 6:9

"And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not."

Ep. 29 Generation to Generation Sep 10, 2021
    Show notes

It’s so important to pass on the wisdom and values that we have found to the next generation. And it’s equally as important for us to continue to glean goodness from the generations before us. We need each other in order to live a balanced life.

Let’s explore the benefits of doing so and the pitfalls in ignoring history. The scriptures are full of Lovenotes and instructions to make us wise.

    Proverbs 9:10

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding."

    Ep. 28 Look Up! Sep 03, 2021
    Show notes

It’s so easy to lose focus. We have so many things vying for our attention and it’s easy to be distracted by success, the lack thereof, health issues, the economy, or the state of the world. All of these things were a part of King Neb’s demise, and eventually, he lost his mind.

But something wonderful happens when we look up in the direction of the one who loves us most! When we set our gaze on the Hope that never fades, we are restored to peace and we can experience joy.

Let’s look into the scriptures and see what love notes have already been written on the subject!

My handsome hubby Stace is back with us having fun and sharing the hope of Christ!

    Scripture Memory:

    Psalm 121:1-2

"I will lift up mine eyes, unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

My help, cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth"

Ep. 27 From Beauty To Beast Aug 27, 2021
    Show notes

King Neb Is filling us in on what happened that led up to his fall and rising. He has documented and published it in many languages. When The King refused to humble himself before God, he left no other option on the table but humiliation. His beauty and splendor were turned beastly.

One moment he was on top and the next he was doing the unthinkable. For a period of time, He no longer recognizes himself.

Have you ever failed to humble yourself and fallen from a graceful place? Have you ever surprised yourself by doing what you thought you’d never would do? Have you ever slipped on a patch of humiliation?

Well, listen and lean in as the same grace and mercy that was served to King Neb, is offered to us as well.

    Lovafide Lovenotes

My Handsome hubby Stace, joins me for more fun, discussions, and help with our Scripture Memory verse. This week it can be found in 1 Peter 5:5b:

"All of you, clothe yourselves, with humility toward one another, because God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."
