Certain moments in one's life can influence or drastically change the trajectory of the years to follow. Experiences have the power to shape and mold who we become, what's important to us, and the questions we ask. In the case of Jeffery Sortino, this becomes resoundingly clear. In this week's episode of Lost Origins, Jeffery joins Andrew and CK for a thought-provoking and heavy conversation regarding his life, the intense events that shaped his path, and the questions he started asking at a young age that would ultimately lead him to write The Identity of God: The Search for and Identification of God Through Ancient Texts. This book analyzes multitudes of ancient texts in an effort to answer one of humanity's most significant questions - who is god?
This episode is a crazy ride and one that will leave you ready to ask meaningful questions about the nature of our existence, spirituality, and the possibility of extraterrestrial existence.

    S03E02 - Adam Stokes // The Giants Among Us Sep 30, 2019
    Show notes

Brace yourself for a gigantic conversation on this week's episode of Lost Origins. That was an awful pun, but the legitimacy of the claim holds true. This week, Andrew and CK are joined by none other than Adam Stokes. Having obtained his B.A. in Religion at Duke University and his Masters of Divinity from Yale Divinity School, Stokes is an expert of theology and religion and a professor at St. Joseph University. S03E01 - Brian Keating // Losing the Nobel Prize Sep 23, 2019
    Show notes

The synchronicity between the fall equinox and the launch of season three is off the chain. I wish we could say that we planned this release schedule, but that would be a farce. While the level of epic that is the equinox is massive, the launch of season three is one that you need to get stoked for. We kick off the season with a conversation that will blow your mind on the scale of the big bang theory, which we discuss today with Dr. Brian Keating. Dr. Keating is a professor of physics at the Center for Astrophysics & Space Sciences in the Department of Physics at the University of California, San Diego. He is a public speaker, inventor, and an expert in the study of the universe’s oldest light, the cosmic microwave background. Keating is also a pioneer in the search for the earliest physical evidence of the inflationary epoch, the theorized period of expansion of space in the early universe directly after the Big Bang.
Keating is also the distinguished author of Losing the Nobel Prize which was released with overwhelming praise on September 24, 2018. Today, Andrew and CK connect with Dr. Keating to discuss his work surrounding the expansion of the universe and the Big Bang, his book and the experiences that motivated him to write the the best-selling Losing the Nobel Prize, and exploring what Brian calls the inside story of a quest to unlock one of cosmology’s biggest mysteries, derailed by the lure of the Nobel Prize. Gear up to get your space on and mind blown as we launch season three - now with more ham horn! Fresh new look; same great taste.

S02E20 - Lost Origins // In Every End There is Also Beginning Sep 16, 2019
    Show notes

Season two of Lost Origins was an incredible journey and one that will forever hold a very special place in our hearts. Placing the show in a status of hiatus after season one was a very difficult decision and the itch to reboot the show has been everpresent since production ceased in 2016. Life has an interesting way of presenting challenges and opportunities that both require a monumental amount of attention, effort, and time. There were several moments where a reboot looked possible and in the end, each of these moments was rendered obsolete. We wanted to make sure that when we committed to rebooting the show, it was one that was not only sustainable but one that allowed us to make some incredible changes to the brand.
We knew that the audio quality needed to be addressed and we checked that box. We also know that in today's digital ecosystem, a brand that is not a media company is not likely to survive - it's a jungle out there kids. We rolled out the media section of the website. We announced the anthology that is in development. We started implementing the use of videography and that is a space that we will continue to flex our creative muscles. We are always looking for ways to create additional content and media that provides value to our audience and listeners.
In this week's episode, Andrew and CK revisit their favorite moments from season two and discuss the conversations that left their heads spinning. There were droves of amazing nuggets throughout the run of season two and the co-hosts expand on what they learned. Andrew and CK also outline the future of the show - what to expect in season three, what shifts are in the works for the format of the show, and much more.

S02E19 - Erich Von Daniken // The Gods Never Left Us Sep 11, 2019
    Show notes

How the hell do you set the stage for a conversation with a living legend like the one and only, Erich Von Daniken? While this highlight reel doesn't even begin to scratch the surface, a small handful of Erich's accolades include writing the 1968 best selling and global phenomenon Chariots of the Gods. Did Erich stop there? Nope; not even close. Since the release of Chariots of the Gods, Erich has written over 40 books - no big deal. His works have been translated into 32 languages and have sold over 63 million copies worldwide. Also, no big deal. As if a mountain of best selling titles wasn't enough, Erich has starred in countless documentaries and television shows including Ancient Aliens, several Gaia programs, the 1970 film Chariots of the Gods, and many more.
This week, Erich Von Daniken joins Andrew and CK to discuss his body of work, his career, his most recent release The Gods Never Left Us. As the true sequel to Chariots of the Gods, this best selling book explores the idea that ancient aliens have not only been involved with humanity for thousands of years but that extraterrestrials have been present within the progress and development of the human species from day one. At 84 years old, the charismatic and passionate Von Daniken presents his research in an accessible way that will melt your brain and force you to question everything.

    S02E18 - Cliff Dunning // Exploring the Ancients Sep 09, 2019
    Show notes

Growing up, I always enjoyed a solid mashup. It was a magical moment when the work of two bands I enjoyed would come together, creating an altogether new experience based on separate brands, styles, and sometimes genres. This week, Lost Origins tips the proverbial hat and pays homage to the mashup culture in a big way. Sharing the motivation to ask questions and uncover the origins of humanity, Earth Ancients is an insanely successful podcast hosted by Cliff Dunning. A former Program Director for The Learning Annex, Whole Life Expo, and numerous national conferences, Cliff developed a keen awareness for provocative subjects on our planet’s known and unknown civilizations, and the thousands of anomalous archeological discoveries which are not covered by conventional science and the media. Possessing a deep understanding of ancient wisdom traditions, the Human Potential Movement, topics on personal growth, and spirituality, Cliff introduces programs which are ahead of their time, controversial and thought-provoking.
Not only has Cliff built an amazing show with a massive following, but he has also been fortunate to have conversations with some of the top alternative thinking minds of modern times. This roster is vast and includes hitters such as Graham Hancock, Randal Carlson, Michael Tellinger, Andrew Collins, Freddy Silva, Dr. Robert Schoch, Erich Von Daniken, and many more.
This week, Cliff jumps on with Andrew and CK for a mashup between Lost Origins and Earth Ancients. In true round table fashion, the three each bring their favorite theory among ancient mysteries and discuss what they have been able to discern based on their research and conversations had on the podcasts. This is a unique episode and one that you do not want to miss.

S02E17 - Jennifer Gehl // The Return of Planet Sedna Sep 02, 2019
    Show notes

Lurking in the dark corners of our solar system, planet Sedna holds interesting implications regarding the mental wellbeing of humanity. This week, Andrew and CK connect with Jennifer T. Gehl, MHS. As a certified Acutonics practitioner, astrology sound healer, and mentor with a master’s degree in health sciences from St. Francis University, Jennifer instructs astro-harmonic medicine continuing education to licensed professionals. In this week's episode of Lost Origins, she explains her latest book, The Return of Planet Sedna and walks Andrew and CK through how the Inuit legend of the sea woman Sedna offers clues about the message of the same-named planet’s return, including a warning about the sustainability of our planet. She also details how we can tune ourselves to Sedna’s energies and harness them for healing ourselves and our planet. Gehl also explains how Kundalini energy courses through planets and people alike and how planetary transits activate a form of cosmic Kundalini energy, with Sedna’s planetary return marking a major stage in this awakening process.
Examining the story of Sedna mythologically and astrologically, Gehl explains how Sedna’s last appearance 11,000 years ago occurred at the end of the Ice Age when waters disrupted and divided our world. Her return, rather than being a harbinger of disaster, is one of the way-shower and shaman. Symbolically, she lights the path for us to ignite our own immortality by surrendering to the inner path, revealing patterns and pathways for infinite healing potential, a new model of sustainability for the health of our planet, and a way to actively participate in our soul’s evolution.

S02E16 - Andrew Collins // Denisovan Origins and the Hybrid Humans of Gobekli Tepe Aug 28, 2019
    Show notes

Gobekli Tepe is hands-down one of the most enigmatic and intriguing sites on the face of the Earth. Steeped in mystery, this site continues to challenge the status-quo of the epoch in which civilization began. This site has been the focus of several episodes of Lost Origins and this week, we make a return to Gobekli Tepe in a major way. Andrew and CK are joined by Andrew Collins to discuss his upcoming book, Denisovan Origins. Scheduled for release on September 3rd, Denisovan Origins traces the migrations of the sophisticated Denisovans and their interbreeding with Neanderthals and early human populations more than 40,000 years ago. This release also explains how Denisovan hybrids became the elite of ancient societies, including the Adena mound-building culture.
Collins explains his latest effort to Andrew and CK while taking them on a journey through the ancient world. This episode is one hell of a rabbit hole; you have been warned.
Andrew Collins is a science and history writer, who has been investigating the origins of human civilization for over three decades. He is a noted explorer and the co-discoverer of a massive cave complex beneath the Giza plateau, now known as “Collins’ Caves.” He is the author of several bestselling books, including From the Ashes of Angels and Gobekli Tepe: Genesis of the Gods.

S02E15 - Walter Cruttenden // Lost Star of Myth and Time Aug 26, 2019
    Show notes

The precession of the equinoxes has long perplexed mankind. This phenomenon is a mind-boggling component of the Earth and the ancients continuously tipped the proverbial hat to precession throughout their monuments, megalithic structures, and writings. This subtle, yet highly advanced nod has perplexed researchers, as the common narrative points to ancient man having been less sophisticated than our current societal achievements. This week's episode explores why this school of thought is incorrect and how our ancestors were incredibly advanced.
Currently serving as the Director of the Binary Research Institute in Newport Beach, California, Walter Cruttenden is the author of the best selling book, Lost Star of Myth and Time. He is also the writer and producer of the award-winning documentary film, “The Great Year”. This week he joins Andrew and CK to discuss his work surrounding precession and the cyclical nature of the ages. He explains how mankind transitions from low ages of darkness and ignorance into high ages of technological and conscious achievement. Additionally, Walter points to our sun participating in a binary star system as the basis for this shift in civilization; a concept that is one hell of a rabbit hole.
