Show notes
Christopher Carter of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, hosts the Locked on Steelers podcast, and is joined by James Rapien of Locked on Bengals for Crossover Thursday.
The Pittsburgh Steelers' Thursday night football contest against the Cincinnati Bengals is a big chance for Aaron Rodgers and his team to seize control of the AFC North. Christopher Carter and James Rapien discuss the weight of the game with both the Steelers' urgency to increase their lead over the Baltimore Ravens and the Bengals' desperation to get a win that keeps them within striking distance of the division and other AFC playoff contenders. What must the Steelers do to limit Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins with their new quarterback in Joe Flacco? Chris notes how Joey Porter Jr. and Jalen Ramsey play a big role, but the game must still be won at the line of scrimmage with T.J. Watt, Cam Heyward, Derrick Harmon, Nick Herbig and Alex Highsmith causing problems for Flacco and the underwhelming Bengals offensive line.
