Chris Olave is on the verge rewriting the New Orleans Saints record books, coming within reach of becoming the franchise’s first receiver with 100 receptions, over 1,000 yards, and double-digit touchdowns in a single season.
With two road games left and just eight catches, two TDs, and 80 yards needed for more historic marks, Olave proves he’s not just worthy of a contract extension—he’s central to the Saints’ offensive future alongside quarterback Tyler Shough and Kellen Moore’s retooled system.
Saints fans could have witnessed the final home games for Cam Jordan and Taysom Hill, two icons whose recent performances added NFL milestones to their legendary legacies. Jordan hit 130 career sacks and Hill joined rare company with 1,000 yards passing, rushing, and receiving—all before their families and friends in the Caesars Superdome. As New Orleans eyes a new era, decisions loom on veteran contracts and the evolving core around stars like Olave.
