The Boston Red Sox beat the San Diego Padres 6-1 on Friday night at Petco Park to extend their win streak and kick off their nine-game road trip on a high note.

Lauren Willand provides a special Saturday episode of Locked On Red Sox where she gives Rafael Devers his flowers for his two-home run night. She also discusses Xander Bogaerts' comments when he said he felt his time with the Red Sox was coming to an end last March.

After the Red Sox's 9-1 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals at Fenway Park, Ryan Brasier informed the media he had been designated for assignment. Brasier had a rough outing, and with Joely Rodriguez getting set to be activated off the injured list, Brasier couldn't survive this round.
