Michael Scotto from HoopsHype raises the Nic Claxton contract ceiling to $25m, which gives Adam real pause. While Claxton might. not be worth that amount, having his talent and contract on the books can serve the Nets well in the short and long term.
Adam highlights the rumored suitors on the market and how even a sign and trade could be a viable option for Sean Marks.
With a footnote on Day'ron Sharpe projections, Adam dials in on an Spirts Illustrated article that projects extension eligible contracts which includes Cam Thomas. With a possible $20m/year contract looming, waiting out the Ben Simmons money would give Brooklyn the ability to explore all options around Cam Thomas and the teams young core.
Closing out, Adam looks at a Memphis Grizzlies trade package that at least starts the conversation of Sean Marks to gget back into the 2024 Draft, where Carlton Carington has caught Adam's eye.
