Show notes
The Dallas Mavericks are facing tough times in the NBA, but there are reasons for optimism as the Mavs look ahead to their future. With Cooper Flagg emerging as a franchise cornerstone, the roster's potential is clearer even as Anthony Davis remains injury-prone and Kyrie Irving battles age and recovery. How are the Mavericks set up compared to past rebuilds, and what impact could top draft picks, the current cap situation, and players like Klay Thompson have on the team's outlook?
Nick Angstadt (@NickVanExit) breaks down the latest on the Dallas Mavericks, answering fan questions about Cooper Flagg, Anthony Davis, Kyrie Irving, Klay Thompson, Dereck Lively II, Daniel Gafford, PJ Washington, Naji Marshall, D'Angelo Russell, and Max Christie. Hear how the Mavs compare to teams like the Brooklyn Nets, Chicago Bulls, Miami Heat, Charlotte Hornets, New Orleans Pelicans, Sacramento Kings, Utah Jazz, and more as the team looks to build around young talent. Also discussed are trade possibilities, the influence of Jason Kidd, and front office changes involving Mark Cuban and Patrick Dumont.
