Should the Falcons Trade for Deshaun Watson? Plus Q&A Jan 19, 2021

Show notes

Aaron discusses whether the Atlanta Falcons should trade for Houston Texans QB Deshaun Watson.

He first discusses whether impending GM hire Terry Fontenot will follow a similar blueprint established by the New Orleans Saints in terms of sacrificing long-term success for short-term gains. He then gets into the conversation about what sort of asking price will there be for Watson, and whether or not there's a way to navigate that blockbuster trade better than the Falcons did with the Julio Jones trade in 2011. Then he answers listener questions over whether we'll see several former Falcons follow Dan Quinn to Dallas and whether the Falcons should trade back into the bottom half of the first round.
