Rebuild vs. Reload: Looking Ahead to the Falcons 2021 Offseason Strategy Nov 12, 2020

Show notes

Aaron discusses two opposing offseason strategies for the Atlanta Falcons: rebuilding vs. reloading.

First, he discusses the Cincinnati Bengals claiming DE Takk McKinley and the Falcons decision to move LB Edmond Robinson into his vacated roster spot.

Then, he discusses a rebuild strategy for the Falcons in 2021 that includes trading QB Matt Ryan, trading up for a top QB prospect with the hope of purging expensive salaries to splurge in free agency in 2022 and beyond.

Then he outlines a "reload" strategy that involves keeping Ryan and most of the expensive players and adding higher-priced talent in 2021 to try and win sooner rather than later.
