Show notes
The Miami Dolphins are heading into the 2026 NFL Draft with one of the most fascinating strategies in the league — and it’s starting to become clear what their plan really is.
With 11 total picks, including 7 in the top 100, Miami isn’t just preparing to draft…
They’re preparing to build an entire roster.
And according to Dolphins GM Jon-Eric Sullivan, they are more likely to TRADE BACK than move up — a strategy that could allow them to turn one pick into multiple starters.
At the same time, De’Von Achane remains one of the biggest storylines in Miami.
The Dolphins have made it clear he is NOT available for trade, even as contract talks continue and he remains away from voluntary workouts. That tells you everything about how this team views him.
Meanwhile, the Dolphins are aggressively scouting wide receivers following the loss of Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill, with names like Makai Lemon, Denzel Boston, and KC Concepcion emerging as real targets.
And under new head coach Jeff Hafley, the Dolphins are already establishing a new tone — one built on accountability, evaluation, and competition.
On today’s Dolphin Squad Show, we break it ALL down with Kyle Crabbs and Jeff Zgonina:
• Achane’s situation and what it really means
• Why Miami is likely to trade back in the draft
• The stacked WR class and who fits best
• Offensive line vs wide receiver — what should come first?
• Defensive needs and why CB is still a major concern
• Kyle Crabbs’ insight on draft flexibility and building the right way
• How this draft could define the future of the Dolphins
This isn’t about one pick…
It’s about building a team.
