Show notes
The Dallas Cowboys weigh their options at safety as Caleb Downs looks poised to be off the board by pick 12. Which prospect best fits Christian Parker's multifaceted defense?
Marcus Mosher and Landon McCool break down top 2026 NFL Draft targets, spotlighting Dillon Thieneman (Oregon), Emmanuel McNeil-Warren (Toledo), and Zakee Wheatley (Penn State).
The hosts debate Thieneman's versatility, McNeil-Warren’s imposing physicality reminiscent of Talanoa Hufanga, and the developmental concerns around Wheatley’s age and tackling. Discover which safety can deliver standout coverage, high-impact tackling, and the kind of “dog” mentality Dallas craves.
Key metrics like stops-to-missed-tackle ratios come into play while Mosher and McCool examine if a physical enforcer is more important than elite athleticism. Is Thieneman the perfect schematic fit for the Cowboys, or does McNeil-Warren’s hard-hitting style hold the edge? Get insight on draft values, potential first-round picks, and the evolving role of safety in today’s NFL
