Show notes
The Dallas Cowboys gamble on unconventional talent: can undrafted tight end Michael Trigg become the next offensive weapon in Dallas? With a record-setting wingspan and elite athleticism, Trigg’s journey is a rollercoaster—marked by college transfers, inconsistent play, and off-field questions.
Hosts Marcus Mosher and Landon McCool break down Trigg’s upside, debate his NFL fit, and compare his skill set to past tight ends like Jordan Reed. Is there a diamond waiting to be mined, or will his volatility hold him back? Shifting focus, the Cowboys’ fourth-round selection of Drew Shelton raises eyebrows. Does the former Penn State offensive tackle have enough strength for the NFL, or will his athletic movement and pass-blocking potential shine through?
The discussion spotlights roster needs, key depth concerns at running back, and possible targets like James Conner or a Tony Pollard reunion to ignite the offense. Don’t miss this deep dive into Dallas’ draft gambles and the evolving 2026 roster landscape.
