LOCKED ON COLTS 11/25/19: Jacoby Brissett is proving not to be the long term QB answer for Colts Nov 25, 2019
    Show notes

On today's episode, Stampede Blue's Zach Hicks joins to go over the latest Colts news. From a tough loss in Houston to Eric Ebron's season-ending ankle injuries, we run through it all with our analysis.

First up, this offense is letting down one of the most improved defenses in the NFL. Could the Colts have a top 5-10 defense in 2020? There's only a few missing pieces in our opinion.

Moving on to more discussion of the offense, what exactly has gone wrong? Unfortunately, a lot has to do with the QB spot. Brissett missed multiple easy reads vs. Houston, which resulted in an anemic passing attack. With that being said, is it time to critically evaluate him? Absolutely.

Colts GM Chris Ballard flew out to Logan, Utah on Saturday to watch 2020 QB draft prospect Jordan Love. Ballard has long been connected to Love, so this is very important.

Before we wrap, it's time to look ahead to Tennessee with our keys and predictions.

LOCKED ON COLTS 11/19/19: Colts prepare for must-win game on short week Nov 20, 2019
    Show notes

On today's episode, George Bremer of The Herald Bulletin is back to discuss his thoughts on the Colts' win before analyzing their upcoming matchup for the AFC South lead.

Grover Stewart and Justin Houston have helped revive a Colts defensive line that was struggling badly throughout September. Stewart has helped qualm concerns about the nose tackle position, for now. Meanwhile, Houston is back to terrorizing offensive tackles at high rates.

How does Marlon Mack's injury impact the Colts? Also, will T.Y. Hilton return this week? We go over all of this, plus much more, as we recap Sunday before diving knee deep into the biggest game of the 2019-20 season for Indianapolis against Deshaun Watson's Texans.

LOCKED ON COLTS 11/18/19: Colts bounce back with dominant win over Jaguars Nov 19, 2019
    Show notes

On today's episode, Stampede Blue's Zach Hicks returns to help analyze how the Colts were able to throttle Jacksonville to the tune of 33-13 on Sunday. Behind a flawless attack rushing the ball coupled with another strong defensive outing, Indianapolis finally put together their first true dominant showing of the season.

Marlon Mack and Jonathan Williams carried the way toting the pigskin, but Mack is now out for 3-4 weeks with a fractured hand. How will the Colts respond, and when will T.Y. Hilton return to help offset all of these injuries piling up?

After diving into the Colts' big win, we look ahead on a short week to the biggest game of the season Thursday in Houston. If Indianapolis wins, they control their own destiny for the AFC South crown. What are the biggest keys to a victory, and do we expect the horseshoes to walk out of NRG Stadium with a W in 72 hours?

LOCKED ON COLTS 11/14/19: Are the Colts for real or not? Nov 15, 2019
    Show notes

On today's episode, we're back with Colts beat writer George Bremer to analyze why the Colts are in their current slump. Also, what does it mean for the rest of the season? It all starts this week against Jacksonville where there's arguably four straight must-win games (Jaguars, Texans, Titans, Bucs).

What's up with Adam Vinatieri and Eric Ebron? We all agree that it's unlikely the Colts replace Vinatieri, but Ebron is likely not returning after this season.

Also, how important is it for this team to recapture their early season momentum lead by the offensive line? If it doesn't reappear, you can kiss the playoffs goodbye.

Finally, we look ahead to Jacksonville after a nightmare showing the week prior against Miami. Will Jacoby Brissett or Nick Foles have the bigger impact in this AFC South showdown at Lucas Oil Stadium?

LOCKED ON COLTS 11/4/19: Colts lose heartbreaker in Pittsburgh as injuries pile on Nov 04, 2019
    Show notes

On today's episode, Zach Hicks of Stampede Blue stops by to go over the Colts' loss against the Steelers. Not only did they lose in heartbreaking fashion, but more injuries continue to happen for this team. Jacoby Brissett strained his MCL, while Parris Campbell fractured his hand. Brissett's timetable is great, could only miss one game, but Campbell will be out until December at the earliest.

We went over all of the following along with Brissett and Campbell: Brian Hoyer, Colts' OL struggles, Zach Pascal, Adam Vinatieri. Also, is it time to stay really worrying about the long-term future of Quincy Wilson and Tyquan Lewis, who were both healthy scratches once again?

Finally, we look ahead to the Dolphins game where Brissett or Hoyer should be able to easily win this one.

LOCKED ON COLTS 10/29/19: Colts survive ugly outing against Denver Oct 30, 2019
    Show notes

On today's episode, George Bremer of The Herald Bulletin returns to help recap the Colts' latest victory. After the 15-13 win over the Broncos, the Colts now have an inside track on the division plus a first round bye.

Jacoby Brissett made a very special play on Sunday, but how was his game overall? Also, a very underrated game from Marlon Mack and their defense.

No surprise, the Colts didn't make a move at the trade deadline either. We go over why we don't expect that to ever happen in the Chris Ballard era. However, what's up with Quincy Wilson and is he someone who could be moved at the draft instead?

Finally, we look ahead to the Pittsburgh game where the spread is an even pick 'em game. Surprising, right? Expect another close finish in a must-win game for Indianapolis to create more separation from their competition.

LOCKED ON COLTS 10/25/19: Positional breakdown of Colts vs. Broncos Oct 26, 2019
    Show notes

On today's episode, Jake Arthur of Colts.com returns to go over the Colts' latest game against the Denver Broncos. Before we do that, we recap his thoughts on the 30-23 win over Houston. What stood out the most to him?

Denver shouldn't present many challenges for the Colts, but they need to avoid another letdown like we saw with Oakland. If they can avoid another misstep, there's a good chance this one ends in a blowout. After all the close finishes thus far, it certainly would be a nice change of pace.

Who are possible game breakers for Denver that the Colts need to watch out for? Finally, we close with Jake's keys to the game and his final prediction.

LOCKED ON COLTS 10/24/19: State of the Colts with Kevin Bowen Oct 24, 2019
    Show notes

On today's episode, Kevin Bowen make his long-awaited return to the show to go in-depth on the Indianapolis Colts' season. Bowen will be on every two weeks through the regular season, so get ready listeners!

We covered every topic you could possibly think of with the Colts through six games of the season. From Jacoby Brissett and Frank Reich to what holes might be on this team still, plenty of ground was covered in this must-listen show with Bowen.

Do the Colts have the ingredients to go into Foxboro or Arrowhead again in the playoffs and make a deep run? How about the dominance on the offensive line as well? A lot of intriguing points in a season where many doubted Indianapolis after Andrew Luck's sudden retirement. Incredibly enough, a first round bye with 11 or 12 wins is a real possibility.

LOCKED ON COLTS 10/23/19: Crossover Wednesday with Locked On Broncos Oct 24, 2019
    Show notes

On today's episode, Crossover Wednesday is back as we preview Colts vs. Broncos with Cody Roark of Locked On Broncos. What are the biggest keys for the Colts to avoid another early season letdown when they have all the momentum?

From the Broncos' point of view, is the season already over? Emmanuel Sanders was traded, while others are being shopped around. Also, is Vic Fangio's seat already getting warm?

For the Colts, this is a matchup where they should feast on both sides of the ball. Could this be the first blowout of the season?

Finally, we close with our final keys and predictions.

LOCKED ON COLTS 10/22/19: Why the Colts have all the ingredients for a deep playoff run Oct 23, 2019
    Show notes

On today's episode, George Bremer of The Herald Bulletin is back to help go over the Colts' latest win while also looking ahead to Denver. Also, we bring back Twitter Tuesday to answer some listener questions.

First up, though, let's dissect Indianapolis' win over Houston. What were the biggest takeaways? No surprise, but Jacoby Brissett's impressive outing stood out the most. Darius Leonard, Eric Ebron, and Zach Pascal also earned strong praise from Bremer.

What are the biggest questions listeners want to know? From Deon Cain to injury timetables, all of your questions are answered by Bremer.

Finally, we go over Bremer's biggest keys against the Broncos with his prediction. How can the Colts avoid another stunning loss to an inferior opponent?
