Reaction To Chargers Signing Cornerback Bryce Callahan May 04, 2022

Show notes

The Los Angeles Chargers signed cornerback Bryce Callahan Tuesday taking a low risk shot on a high upside player. Callahan and head coach Brandon Staley spent time together with the Bears and the Broncos, and now has a chance to battle Michael Davis for playing time with the Chargers. The one downside to Callahan is his injury history, but your hosts discuss why even with those concerns they still believe Tom Telesco made the right move bringing him in. The organization made another big move this week declining defensive lineman Jerry Tillery's fifth-year contract option. It may not be the right move to guarantee the money to Tillery now, but he could very easily have the best season of his career.
