RECAP: Darian Mensah, Jackson Cantwell, Omar Thornton & More SHINE At Miami Hurricanes SPRING GAME Apr 18, 2026

Show notes

Darian Mensah looks poised for a great season with the Miami Hurricanes. Mensah threw three touchdown passes in Miami’s spring football game and never put the ball in harm’s way. Receivers Cooper Barkate, Cam Vaughn and Daylyn Upshaw caught his TD passes. True freshman Jackson Cantwell had a strong performance, even when going against top edge rusher Damon Wilson.

Host Alex Donno discussed standout performances by defensive backs Omar Thornton and JJ Dunnigan. Running backs Javian Mallory and Jordan Lyle made impactful plays, too. How concerned should we be about WR Josh Moore leaving the game injured? Will inconsistencies from the reserve offensive linemen hurt Miami in the regular season?

Donno shares a positive recruiting update on 4-Star running back Myson Johnson-Cook.
