How can the Broncos defense return to being feared? Jan 24, 2020
    Show notes

Today's episode of Locked On Broncos discusses some team news, and analyzes how the Broncos defense can return to being feared once again.

Cody Roark discusses the Broncos interview of Mike Shula for the team's vacant QB Coach Position. Cody discusses Mike Shula's work with Cam Newton from 2013-2017 as the Panther OC, and more recently Giants QB Daniel Jones in 2019. Shelby Harris and Chris Harris Jr both changed agents prior to March's Free Agency period, what does this indicate for their likelihood of returning to Denver?

Cody answers a listeners question regarding how the Broncos defense can return to being a feared unit once again. Cody discusses the importance of the defense generating more takeaways and getting pressure on the QB. The Broncos D only had 17 takeaways all season long and sacked the QB 40 times. These areas have to improve for the defense to return to being feared once again.

Lastly, Cody discusses whether or not the Broncos should spend a lot of money this off-season just because they have the cap space. They've got to prioritize their moves with Justin Simmons being the number one priority.
