How many Wisconsin Badgers WRs are NFL talents and did Graham Mertz lead to Paul Chryst losing his job as the Badgers head coach ? May 10, 2023

Show notes

How many Wisconsin Badgers WRs are NFL talents and did Graham Mertz lead to Paul Chryst losing his job as the Badgers head coach ? Rajeev and I talk about the narrative that the decision to promote Graham Mertz and move away from Jack Coan is what led to the downfall for Paul Chryst, we both disagree as there were so many other issues within the program including poor assistant coaching hires, bad recruiting and faulty in-game decisions.

We discuss the current Badgers WR room and how many guys we think might have NFL potential, we also discuss where Danny Davis and Kendric Pryor might have fit into the Badgers depth chart this season. We also discuss how important the Badgers finding the ability to land recruiting stars is - why the Badgers can't just be a developmental program going forward and how many years will it take Luke Fickell to get there?

Is the 2011 Wisconsin Badgers football offense, one of the best in recent college history ? May 06, 2023

Show notes

Is the 2011 Wisconsin Badgers football offense, one of the best in recent college history ? I talk about why the 2011 offense isn't talked about nearly enough with every offensive player being drafted or signed by an NFL team. The backfield with Montee Ball and Melvin Gordon, a stacked offensive line led my two first round picks and elite QB play with Russell Wilson combined to make this offense nightmare fuel for opposing defenses.

I also talk about the pain and misery that came out of the Michigan State hail mary and why it might have cost the Badgers a shot at the national title.
