Enjoy our first Teacher Spotlight episode!
Bijan is not only a long time listener of Little Red School House, he is also a former freelance mural painter, juvenile correctional teacher, alternative school teacher, and now an art teacher living in China.
In this amazing episode Bijan shares many interesting stories - specifically why he and his wife moved to China, and, the details on how their life has been since their move.
After successfully tackling technical difficulties, and time zone screw ups on our end, we managed to have an amazing conversation and episode with Bijan :). I also enjoyed meeting, and talking with a fellow art teacher - John.
Bijan also created the cover art for the Xiangyu album.
Let us know what you think about this episode, and, if you have any teachers you specifically want us to spotlight.

Little Red School House focuses on issues with our current education system and ways we can empower students, educators, and anyone who cares about education.
Shouldn’t people be put before profits? Shouldn’t our children be educated to grow and learn instead of being treated like the means to the financial gain of those in power? If you agree with this so-called “radical” and “revolutionary” perspective, you’ve come to the right place!
Join educators Gord Milstone and John Battalion as they call out systemic problems and discuss how we can break down barriers in the educational system. Engage with us on social media at @LRedSchoolHouse on twitter. You can also find us on Patreon at patreon.com/LittleRedSchoolHouse.
