505. The Case for the Free State of Florida with Tho Bishop Mar 22, 2021

Show notes

In today's flagship Lions of Liberty podcast, Marc welcomes in Tho Bishop of The Mises Institute to make the case for the "Free State of Florida" as a new beacon for the liberty-minded. Tho first delves into his liberty origins that arose from his interest in the Christopher Nolan Batman films of all things, and how that led to his role as Deputy Communications Director for the House Financial Services Committee and eventually his role at the Mises Institute. Tho then makes the case for why Florida should be a prime target for the liberty-minded who are looking to vote with their feet and find a hub of liberty in their lives.

Tho and Marc also discuss a political strategy for liberty, why Tho has chosen to participate in the Republican Party and how the Libertarian Party could function effectively as a third party. Tho really brings the Florida Man energy in this one, and you'll be hard pressed not to at least consider checking out Florida after hearing this conversation!
