TLPP: Exposing the Chinese Communist Party w/ David Zhang Oct 06, 2026
    Show notes

David Zhang built a 1.4 million subscriber YouTube channel exposing the Chinese Communist Party — from his base in the US, where he can actually say what he thinks. Born in China, raised in Canada, now in New York, David breaks down how Beijing operates: surveillance, threats to family members back home, and a propaganda machine that's gotten scarily good at targeting Western audiences.

We get into TikTok as a weapon, China's economy cratering under Xi Jinping, the comedian who got an entire stand-up competition banned for one joke about the PLA, and the doctrine of "unrestricted warfare" — Beijing's playbook for taking down the US without a single bullet. Plus: the four olds Mao tried to destroy, Chinese tourists at the Louvre, and the Asian gene that means David didn't need deodorant until he was 27.

FF: Defunding the Indoctrination Machine: How Trump's Student Loan Rule Could Break Progressive Control of Academia and Beyond Oct 06, 2026
    Show notes

The progressive left spent decades building institutional control over American academia, using it as a pipeline to reshape corporate culture, HR departments, and public policy. The fuel that kept that machine running was the nearly unlimited flow of government-subsidized student loans—now a $1.7 trillion portfolio—regardless of whether graduates could actually earn a living. The Trump administration's new Earnings Accountability Rule threatens that foundation by tying federal loan eligibility to post-graduation income, forcing programs whose graduates don't out-earn high school diploma holders to lose funding. This episode breaks down how cutting off the money could cascade beyond student debt into the entire progressive institutional infrastructure, from DEI offices to corporate hiring mandates. The takeaway: the most durable response to institutional capture is to build an income and a life that doesn't depend on gatekeepers whose power is built on your tax dollars.

TBNS: America's 250th, H-1B Visas, the General Welfare Clause, & Can a Dictionary Save the Constitution? Oct 05, 2026
    Show notes

Stephen Ferry joins Brian Nichols to reveal what the general welfare clause actually meant in 1787, and why America's 250th birthday finds us $40 trillion in debt and arguing over a Constitution most people can't explain.
Kids can recite the Preamble. 52 words. One sentence. Six purposes sitting right there in the text...
But ask a civics teacher to name all six? Good luck.
Stephen is the new national spokesperson for Citizens Academy U.S., and their guide walks the Preamble word by word using Noah Webster's 1828 dictionary. So why does a 200-year-old dictionary get to be the referee?
And Brian pushes back. Hard. Words change. Kleenex. Xerox. Google. And with H-1B visas, a shifting culture, and a federal government bigger than any in history... does defining the words even matter anymore?
So... can a dictionary save the Constitution? Or are we too far gone?

FF: Your Body Is Not Broken: Dr. Sage Wolfe on What Your Body Is Actually Trying to Tell You Sep 29, 2026
    Show notes

In this episode of Finding Freedom, host John Odermatt sits down with Dr. Sage Wolfe — a doctor of natural medicine, former professional gymnast, and certified Wolf Non-Surgical Master Trainer — to challenge the assumption that surgery and pharmaceuticals should be the first resort for chronic pain and joint issues. Dr. Sage explains how the body has an innate capacity to heal when given the right conditions, from rehydrating "bone on bone" cartilage to addressing the root causes of inflammation through gut health, proper mineralization, and parasympathetic nervous system activation. The conversation dives deep into the gut-brain connection, how emotional trauma gets stored in physical tissue, and why the standard medical approach of cutting out joints and organs often creates more problems than it solves. Dr. Sage also shares practical daily tips — from salting your water to the order in which you eat your food — plus resources for anyone ready to take their health into their own hands. Whether you're dealing with chronic pain, limited mobility, or just want to age without limitations, this episode makes the case that your body isn't broken — it's trying to tell you something.

TBNS: Breast Cancer Under 50, Apple Cider Vinegar, Mexico's Medical Tourism Boom, & a $275,000 Mistake Sep 26, 2026
    Show notes

Emma Victoria Johnson joins Brian Nichols to reveal the $275,000 mistake she made after a stage 4 breast cancer diagnosis at 43... and why Mexico's medical tourism boom is catching so many patients off guard right now.
Breast cancer is climbing fastest in women under 50. And Netflix's Apple Cider Vinegar has everybody online asking who's real and who's faking it.
Emma got caught in the middle of both... people called her "fake cancer girl" because she looked too healthy.
So she did what a lot of scared patients do. She picked the clinic with the best marketing... pools, saunas, a $10,000 watch... and got on a plane.
$275,000 later? She's got the red flags every patient and every family member needs to see before signing anything. Plus what her sisters said when she told them she was going to Mexico, the Steve Jobs story everybody brings up, and the one question Emma says every clinic should be able to answer. Brian and Emma are not doctors - this is one patient's story, not medical advice.

The Politicks crew unpacks the chaotic saga of The Last Ditch, a Boston lesbian bar where a single mask-optional night sparked threats of firebombing from immunocompromised patrons. From there, the conversation spirals into universal suffrage, the radicalization of the Democratic Party, and Nikole Hannah-Jones sacrificing her daughter's education for ideology. On this week's Mean Age Daydream, Brian breaks down the latest woke overreaction, this time to a Converse shoe ad with a K-Pop starlet in it that is apparently super racist. TLPP: Undercover at Socialism 2026 w/ Aidan Grogan Sep 22, 2026
    Show notes

Aidan Grogan is a researcher at the Manhattan Institute. He went undercover at Socialism 2026 — the annual conference sponsored by Haymarket Books, held in Chicago over Labor Day weekend — and sat in on panels that weren't being livestreamed to see what they were saying behind closed doors. In some cases, they were saying considerably more radical things than what made it onto the stream. We talked about: how he got in (registered as Aidan G. with a burner email, wore Marxist pins, didn't iron his shirt, gave up on the disguise by day four); masks required at all times, COVID still surging, it felt like 2020 all over again; the family abolition session — two Yale-affiliated researchers sitting in a circle with Crayola markers on the table, advocating to dismantle the family as an oppressive capitalist institution; Sophie Lewis, Oxford graduate, family abolitionist, currently married; the audience describing the "most culturally celebrated family" as white people, private property, and heteronormativity; the fat genocide panel and the presenter who was herself relatively fit; Sophie Lewis denying any biological basis to sex; the mismatch between revolutionary rhetoric and people with too much anxiety to fire a gun; the old macho Marxists vs. today's conference-goers; Bill Ayers and the career path of a left-wing terrorist (hint: it ends in a tenured professorship); Robert Nisbet's The Quest for Community and why radical politics is a substitute religion for the socially alienated; and the DSA platform calling for abolishing the Senate, the Electoral College, and the checks and balances of the American constitutional order.Read Aidan's coverage → City Journal: cityjournal.orgFollow Aidan → Manhattan Institute: manhattan-institute.orgTIMESTAMPS:0:00 — Intro — Aidan Grogan, Manhattan Institute and City Journal0:43 — What is Socialism 2026? FF: Accused of Terrorism, Detained at a Black Site: What Danial Jiwani Learned About Wealth When Everything Was Stripped Away Sep 22, 2026
    Show notes

Daniel Jiwani moved to Saudi Arabia to work for PricewaterhouseCoopers, but eight months later he was abducted by Saudi authorities, taken to a black site, and falsely accused of terrorism based on a coworker's joke found on his phone. After three weeks in a black site and over a month in a maximum security prison alongside Al-Qaeda and ISIS members, the FBI and State Department secured his release—only for him to endure six more days in a nightmarish deportation facility where he contracted COVID and slept on a concrete floor. He returned home to find his assets frozen, his career destroyed, and his employer potentially complicit in covering up his disappearance. Rather than succumb to despair, Daniel rebuilt his life using the same wealth principles he'd spent years researching—positive thinking, relentless action, and learning to handle pressure. In this episode, he shares his full story and the key lessons from his new book, The 52 Laws of Wealth, on what real financial resilience looks like when theory meets the worst possible reality.
