#278: Addie Bracy -- "Mental Training for Ultrarunning", Winning Run Rabbit Run Nov 19, 2021
    Show notes

This week we are chatting with elite athlete and author of "Mental Training for Ultrarunning" Addie Bracy!! Addie is an elite ultrarunner and, as a certified Mental Performance Consult, an expert in mental training for athletes. In this episode we focus mostly on the mental rollercoaster an ultrarunner faces during a run which is what first got me interested in the sport and what still captures my imagination today! What drives someone forward when faced with anguish and adversity? How does the mind grow throughout an ultra journey? How does one develop a solid mental game to push them through the lowest of lows in a race? Addie also shares stories from her excellent race at the Run Rabbit Run 100 miler this fall in which she placed first! This is a great episode and I HIGHLY recommend Addie's book!!
