    Emotionally Naked with Anne Moss Rogers Dec 12, 2019

    Anne Moss Rogers is author of the book, Diary of a Broken Mind, and is an Emotionally Naked® motivational speaker who helps people foster a culture of connection to prevent suicide, and find life after loss.

    Despite her family’s best efforts, Anne Moss’ 20-year-old son Charles died by suicide June 5, 2015 after many years of struggle with anxiety, depression, and ultimately addiction. Anne Moss started a blog, EmotionallyNaked.com, and chronicled her family’s tragedy in a newspaper article that went viral.

    She has been featured in the New York Times, and was the first suicide loss survivor ever invited to speak at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH).

    She lives in Richmond, Virginia, with her husband, Randy. Her surviving son, Richard, is a filmmaker living his dream in LA.

    Kristi Hugstad is the author of Beneath the Surface: A Teen’s Guide to Reaching Out when You or Your Friend Is in Crisis. Ever since her husband completed suicide in 2012, after years of struggling with clinical depression, by running in front of a train, she has dedicated her life to helping to abolish the stigma of mental illness and suicide. A certified grief recovery specialist and a grief and loss facilitator for recovering addicts at South Coast Behavioral Health, Kristi frequently speaks at high schools. She is also the host of The Grief Girl podcast and lives in Orange County, California.

What was even more shocking was the shared experience that Connie experienced, which she confirmed when she called Connie, only to find out from Connie's son that she had just passed.
