Liberty Conspiracy - 8-4-12 US Emgargo on Iran Aug 05, 2012

Show notes

We reconvene at the Liberty Conspiracy! Thanks for listening and for spreading the word. In this program, we discuss the recent move by the US House and Senate to impose "sanctions" on Iran. These "sanctions" are actually an embargo, which is an act of War. But, of course, there are few who still know this. One of them is Ron Paul... Gardner Goldsmith is another, and he takes the time to look at what Dr. Paul has said about the "sanctions" and to look at how that term is used far too loosely when the "embargo" is correct. He also looks at how other embargoes led to the exchange of fire, specifically, the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941. Good stuff with music by Human Sexual Response "Blow Up", "Land of the Glass Pinecones" The Zulus "Directly from Our Hearts to Yours", The Psychedelic Furs "Blacks/Radio" (not originally released on the first US disc because the record co believed it to be too controversial in the south), Girls Against Boys "Rockets Are Red", The New Bomb Turks "Dented and Spent" and "Grandpa Atomic" (listen to those drums!!!! And listen for this quote: "If we're gonna be the police of the world, I want my donuts freeeeee, yeah!", Danko Jones "I Can't Handle Moderation" and "Samuel Sin"!!! YEAH! Buy their stuff! See them live! Be Seeing You!

Liberty Conspriacy - 8-1-12 Antonin Scalia versus Rights, with Guest Kurt Hildebrandt Aug 01, 2012

Show notes

Welcome back! In this production, we offer you an analysis of US Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia's recent statement that the right to keep and bear arms can be "regulated". Seems odd, doesn't it, to have something defined as a "right" and yet have a political appointee say such "rights" can be "regulated"? Well we've been talking about this for a long time, and knew this kind of talk would pop up. Why? Because in the 2008 "Heller" decision, a decision many so-called conservatives applauded, Scalia said the same kind of thing. We delve into it and say "we told ya so", and get the able assistance of fellow Conspirator Kurt Hildebrandt! He's a smart guy, and shows us in the exchange he and El G have about this and more. That and music from Love and Rockets "Kundalini Express", Einsterzende Neubaten "Let's Do It A Da Da", The Psychedelic Furs "DUMBWAITERS", WIRE "Hard Currency", Marina and the Diamonds (a new band from the UK!) "Primadonna" and "Homewrecker", Goldfrapp "Lovey 2 C U", Deus "Suds and Soda", Kate Nash "Foundations" Hope you like! Thanks mucho to Kurt! Be Seeing You!

Welcome back to the gang! Good to see more and more people are hearing about the Conspiracy! In this association of people, we fight to defend individual freedom and markets, and we offer information and humor to give our friends intellectual ammunition to combat attacks by statists! This program, derived from the syndicated Liberty Conspiracy Radio show, gives you some interesting information about how socialist Bruce Springsteen was hoist by his own collectivist petard while playing in London. (Don't worry, we won't torture you by playing any of his music.) Then we're joined by FURB of The Freedom Bookclub (visit it!) to study the claims made by the current President of the US regarding General Motors false "comeback" and why the claims are false. We offer numbers and facts, things which aren't often provided in the pop media any more. And we look at more of his claims, especially when it comes to taxes... That and music by Curtis Mayfield "Superfly", The Stooges "Search and Destroy", Plan B "Welcome to Hell", The B-52s "Planet Claire", Eddie Rabbit "Drivin' My Life Away", Massive Attack "Man Next Door", Goldfrapp "Pilots", The Prodigy "Invaders Must Die", and Goldfrapp again with her electronic "Lovely 2 C U"!!! Liberty Conspiracy - 7-7-12 On US Supreme Court Ruling on the Medical Fascism Law Jul 07, 2012

Show notes

This is part one of two episodes in which we explore the strange thinking, the unconstitutional positions and the anti-freedom characteristics of the recent US Supreme Court ruling on the medical fascism law. We use the term fascism with precision, because it is the appropriate term. This portion of our program covers the bizarre manner in which the Supreme Court majority found that the fine was not a fine, even though the court itself said it was a fine at the opening of the opinion. The decision has massive implications for those of us who believe in freedom, and we have much to discuss here and in part two. Enjoy the show! We're obnoxious in it, too! What a deal! Listen for music by The Smiths "How Soon Is Now", The Horrors "She Is The New Thing", THE DAMNED "Sick of Being Sick", The Horrors "Count in Fives", Lenny Kravitz "Always on the Run", Edwyn Collins "A Girl Like You", The Lonely Island "I'm On a Boat", The Demons (also known as "Demons") "Dizzy", Broadcast "Come On, Let's Go!", The Psychedelic Furs "President Gas", and Fugazi "Waiting Room"! Hope you like the whole package! Big news coming at www.libertyconspiracy.com! Be Seeing You!

Liberty Conspiracy 5-16-12 The Right to Self Defense and Arms, Philosophy and Practice May 16, 2012

Show notes

Welcome back! We're glad you're part of the conspiracy! In this program, we explore the right to self-ownership and its associated principle, the right to self-defense. We start with a contemporary story about a man who saved many lives by wielding a firearm against assailants, and then delve into the earliest philosophical acknowledgement of the right to self-ownership and self defense. From there, we look at the history of guns in the US, Australia and the UK, and then look at the practical outcomes of allowing more firearms in certain areas. We also look at the mythology that cops are your best protection, and debunk it with PLEASURE! Enjoy the chat, and pass the word! Also, enjoy the music, featuring a great many cuts by WIRE, including, "On Returning", "Reuters", "The Agfers of Kodak", "I Am the Fly", "Raft Ants", "Want to Ex You" (a new version of "1,2 XU"), "All Fours", "Drill" (live, with Einsturzende Neubaten doing "Vox Populi" - Live in Berlin, 2011), The Prodigy "Piranha", and Inland Sea "Words are Circles"! Look 'em up! Big thanks to Conspirator Tim Humphries for turning us on to Inland Sea. We hope you'll buy some of their music! Look for their music! -- Be Seeing You!

Liberty Conspiracy - 5-2-12 Fed Lies About GM and Waterboarding, Studying Ron Paul v. Paul Krugman May 02, 2012

Show notes

Welcome back to the gang of plotters we call the Liberty Conspiracy! In this program, we offer a podcast version of our May 1, 2012 radio show, on which Gardner Goldsmith covered breaking stories such as the revelation (which we already knew) that Nancy Pelosi lied when she claimed she was not made aware of CIA torture (oh, sorry, "enhanced interrogation in the form of waterboarding, but remember, it's not 'torture' any more, not the way it was in WWII), and we look at the lies of the current President that GM has paid back all of its TARp bailout cash -- Not true by any stretch of the imagination! Then, we take a good look at a mini debate between Ron Paul and Paul Krugman, going more in-depth and seeing who truly believes in freedom and prosperity. This is a valuable segment unto itself, and we hope you'll recommend it to others! That and music from Paul Weller ("Green" and "Around the Lake"), Plan B "Welcome to Hell", Telly Saalas "Who Loves Ya Baby?" (REALLY!), Hall and oates "Rich Girl", Government Issue "Jaded Eyes", WIRE "Comet" and "Hard Currency", Silver SUn Pickups "Panic Switch", and Paul Weller again with "No Tears to Cry" (off "Wake Up the Nation")!! Hope you like it! Be Seeing You!

Liberty Conspiracy 4-29-12 Jury Nullification Wins in Court, Arizona and the US Gubment Wrong on Immigration, A Personal Story of Jury Nullification Apr 29, 2012

Show notes

Opening with Kasabian's "Days Are Forgotten", we delve into the forgotten principle of JURY NULLIFICATION, which stems from the ancient Common Law, and which is not mentioned by most judges in contemporary courts. It's an important power that the people have to negate bad laws! Check out the news story and our analysis. Then, listen as El G Grande explains why both Arizona and the gubment cats in DC are wrong in their immigration arguments in the Supreme Court! We go into some valuable information for liberty lovers, and stress the economic benefits of unlimited immigration! With music by Kasabian, The Fatima Mansions, Girls Against Boys ("Rockets Are Red" and "In Like flynn"), The Sex Pistols ("Bodies" and "Holidays in the Sun" - LIVE!), Steely Dan ("Black Friday"), Morphine ("Super Sex"), Massive Attack ("Man Next Door"), Iggy and the Stooges ("I Wanna Be your Dog") blending into The Cult's homage, ("Phoenix")!
