The Gastroenteritis Blues: (62) Eulogizing the Embarrassing End to the Sixers' Season as They Lose Game 7 to Hawks at Home Jun 21, 2021
    Show notes

Well, that was horrible. The Sixers lost game 7 at home to the Atlanta Hawks and Dan, Steve and Emily reacted to yet another second round loss for Philly. They pulled no punches. Full analysis on Ben Simmons' series from hell, Doc Rivers' abundant miscues, Joel Embiid's play in the series and much more. They also react to postgame media availability from Rivers, Simmons and Embiid.

Where do the Sixers go from here?

Finally, as a palette cleanser, the trio discusses what it was like enduring an historic Philadelphia loss next to each other, as they watched Game 5 together in person at the Wells Fargo Center.

Thank you for supporting the show all season long. Get ready for lots more content as we all head into a huge offseason for the dumb, dumb Sixers.

Talking About Podcast: Sixers basketball is painful and meaningless (also: Glen Willis helps us with an X's and O's breakdown) Jun 17, 2021
    Show notes

That sucked and they should be ashamed. First half is Dan and Sean venting, ranting and unleashing all their pent-up anger over one of if not the worst loss in Sixers franchise history before brining on Glen Willis from Peachtree Hoops to breakdown things from an Atlanta point of view and how they were able to complete the comeback.

Out of Site: Episode 44 with Steve Lipman Jun 15, 2021
    Show notes

    Gheezus!

Well, that game sure sucked, didn’t it? The Philadelphia 76ers dropped game four of their Eastern Conference Semis series against the Atlanta Hawks 103-100. It was such a bad game. Joel Embiid went 0-12 in the second half. Doc Rivers said the team got “outworked” all game and resorted to “hero ball” in the second half. Now, this is a best of three series with the Sixers having two games at the crib in South Philly. Steve Lipman joins host Adio Royster to talk about what went wrong in this game, how they feel going forward, and finish the conversation with a little early “Bachelorette” talk to discuss something to make them feel good about things.

    Steve’s column:

The Gastroenteritis Blues: (60) LIVE on Locker Room - Doc's Adjustments, Shake's Reappearance, Joel We Love You Jun 10, 2021
    Show notes

On today's episode of The Gastroenteritis Blues -- originally recorded live on the Locker Room App -- Dan, Emily and Steve discuss the Sixers' much improved performance in game 2 to even the series at 1-1 versus Atlanta. What did the hosts think of Doc Rivers' adjustments? Or Joel Embiid's 40 point performance? Are the fans too mean to Danny Green? They also comment on Embiid and Ben Simmons both placing second in their respective awards chases.

Also: Daryl Morey's latest fine, Hack-a-Ben (again), Shake Milton is back.

    Enjoy!

Out of Site: Episode 43 with Dave Early Jun 08, 2021
    Show notes

Before the regularly scheduled chat with Dave Early, host Adio Royster took some time to address some of the continued negative nonsense surrounding All-Star point guard Ben Simmons. Should he have called out every sports media personality in town? Maybe not. Is it something he should be immune to by now? Also, probably not. Sometimes, he just likes to do his thing. That’s Adio. Following his “declaring war” on Philadelphia sports media, Dave joins Adio to talk about Atlanta Hawks All-Star guard Trae Young and how he has several familiar tactics he likes to use on offense, what the Philadelphia 76ers have to expect, and how to counter those moves ahead of game two tonight at the Wells Fargo Center.

    Dave’s column:
