Stay ConnectedWelcome to Letter Rip, the comedy show where host Zach Grossfeld writes unhinged open letters to celebrities, pop culture icons, and the long-dead legends. From ruthless roasts to deranged rants, no one’s safe — not The Rock, not Greta Thunberg, not even Honest Abe. Rip it hard, rip it sexy, or don’t rip at all.

How To Land Your Dream Job, According To The Second Employee At Pinterest:
From high school, through college, we put so much energy steering our lives toward that dream job. The perfect work-life balance, completing tasks that align with our purpose, and getting paid handsomely for it.
Getting your dream job makes everything else seem a little bit easier. When you feel like you’re doing what you were meant to do you can push through the bullshit and get to the good shit. Problems become an opportunity instead of a burden.
Sahil Lavingia, the second employee at Pinterest and founder of Gumroad, a sales platform made for creators, tweeted out his recipe for securing your dream job. It’s simple, and it takes some work. As someone who’s been through the depths of Silicon Valley, got rich, and now runs his own company, Sahil knows what it takes to get that dream job.
Without this recipe, you could be missing your shot at that one company you want to work for...

How I Grew My TikTok From Zero To Sixty Thousand Followers, In Under 3 Months (Ep. 440):
The future of TikTok is uncertain. Will Trump Ban the platform? Will a US company acquire TikTok convincing Trump to let it stick around? Who Knows.
But here’s what is certain. Platforms like TikTok that focus on short video content and give creators the tools to create within the app are the future. Instagram, YouTube, and dozens of other companies have spent billions of dollars developing their own TikTok clones to compete with the Chinese giant.
Whether or not TikTok stays around in the US, you need to learn how to grow on these types of platforms to be relevant in the future of social media. It’s not enough to just post a picture and a cute caption. You have to showcase your personality, use your words, and keep people’s attention in short video format. If not, you’ll be stuck in the stone age of Instagram Photos and Facebook Statuses.
So how did I grow my TikTok account from zero to 60k followers in under 3 months? What started as a quarantine experiment has grown into my largest social media platform. Here are 5 things to pay attention to when growing your own TikTok. Not giving the proper attention to these three things could cost you thousands, potentially millions of followers, and financial and creative opportunities that come along with that.

The Billionaire All-Inclusive Resort & Escaping The Rat Race (Episode 439):
What is the meaning of life? The answer we all want to know that is revealed to us through work and the way we bond with others. The meaning of life is not an answer bestowed upon us, like a Mission Impossible Pair of sunglasses dropped from the chopper to be carried out to the tee. The answer is revealed only when we start the mission, fail, start again a thousand more times, and fail a bit less. Maybe that’s the meaning of life. Not achieving some divine level of ecstasy, but waking up each day and failing less in the work we do and how we treat others.
On the Lex Fridman podcast hosted by none other than Lex Fridman, a research scientist at MIT, his guest Manolis Kellis, a computer science professor at MIT, lays out a scenario to better explore the meaning of life which I’ll call the Billionaire All-Inclusive Resort. This scenario, this thinking exercise, this mindset will help you see what matters more clearly.
Without it, you could be leaving meaning in your own life on the table
Here is that scenario...

Dating Advice From The Stoic Master Marcus Aurelius (Ep. 436):
As a human being who loves, fucks, breaks up, and deals with the spectrum of emotion, the push and pull of the dating world is real, sometimes too real.
When you let your desires control you, you can find yourself in the midst of unhealthy attachment, toxic relationships, failing to manifest the fulfilling life you want with your partner.
Your time is valuable, your energy is valuable, and so is your money. Let’s face it: dating someone demands that you spend all three, and lots of it.
Here’s some wise dating insight from stoic philosopher and emperor Marcus Aurelius, who died in the year 180, that still applies today...
