    Skip Waters of Dallas, TX returns as your host for this week's Lets Talk Trains show. His topic is "Railfan or Foamer" - Which one are you? Skip will also take calls and solicit comments on your favorite railfanning hotspots. Plus, he will recap last weeks show on "24 Hours @ Saginaw" letting everyone know how many trains they recorded and interview one of the presenters that put on programs during the event. Mr. Leonard Ruback of Central Texas will share Geotagging your photos while railfanning or on the chase. Tune in, it will be fun!


    LTT On The Road: 5th Annual "24 Hours @ Saginaw" May 29, 2010

    Your host this week is Skip Waters of Dallas, TX. Chairman of "24 Hours @ Saginaw" railwatching event. Special guests will include Mr. Steve Allen Goen of Wichita Falls, TX who is a railroad author of many titles on southwest railroads and producer of rail DVD programs which he currently has finished of the UP 844 Valley Eagle though south Texas. We will learn more of his recent chase and up coming projects. Also joining us will be some local guests that are attending "24 Hours @ Saginaw" event and learn what other fun activities is going on at the depot. For the past 4 years the North Texas Chapter, NRHS has had the privilege of hosting a 24 hour railwatching event at the Saginaw Depot in Saginaw, Texas over Memorial Day weekend starting on Friday evening and ending Saturday evening for a full 24 hours. In past years we have had approximately 100 or more Railfans attend this event to watch trains day and night. Join us and our regular callers at 10:00 AM Pacific, 12:00 Noon Central Time. Ross has had a number of accomplishments with steam locomotives including founding the High Iron Company to restore mainline coal-burning steam engines, the American Freedom Train Foundation and Iron Horse Enterprises. Ross has been a licensed steam locomotive engineer since 1964 and has logged nearly 250,000 mainline miles behind the throttle of his locomotives.
