Today we are going to be talking about storytelling! This also means instagram stories, captions, reels, youtube, podcasts, anything that you can think of; storytelling is so critical. If you’ve been following me, you may have heard the story about the first time my wife Ashley yelled at me. I learned how to tell stories from my Mom, and sometimes it takes her a long time to get to the point. So in the same vein, I started telling Ashley a story, and 30 seconds in she stopped me- ” Mike, will you please just get to the point?!” I have to admit this was quite shocking to me, and I did think I was doing a good job at telling the story. She helped me realize that I didn’t need to tell every single detail for her to know what was going on. This is even more vital in social media and that’s what we’ll be talking about today, let’s go!
