Armed inmates seized control, guards were held captive, and the prison descended into a deadly standoff. But the bloodshed wasn't the end of the story. Decades later, some say the horrors of that night still haunt the prison's crumbling walls. This week on Let's Get Haunted, Nat is going back to jail as she drags Aly behind bars to uncover one of the most terrifying prison riots in American history.

Welcome to Episode 275: The Nuremberg Mystery Man. On May 26, 1828, an emaciated teenager clutching a piece of paper was discovered stumbling through the streets of Nuremberg in the Kingdom of Bavaria. The boy claimed he had been locked in a dungeon for his entire life, unable to step foot outside the home of his captors. Witnesses claimed the boy had trouble walking and talking, but he seemed to be sincere in his claims. As authorities worked to discover the true identity of the teen, he would be targeted by assassins on more than one occasion, leading many to wonder…could this be the bastard child of the royal family? And, if not, why did so many people seemingly want him dead? On this week’s episode of Let’s Get Haunted, we seek to demystify the historic unsolved case of the Nuremberg Mystery Man.

Welcome to Episode 274: The Bennington Triangle, Part II (The Disappearances & Folklore)! On this week’s episode, we finish our 2 part series on the Bennington Triangle, one of the most mysterious regions of the United States. In Vermont’s Bennington Triangle, it’s not unusual to have strange encounters with the paranormal: from strange lights in the sky to mysterious shadow entities on the ground, this area has a rich history of indigenous folklore involving man-eating rocks and cursed land full of evil monsters. This week, we take a look at the mysterious missing persons cases of Middie Rivers (1945), Paula Welden (1946), James Tedford (1949), Paul Jepson (1950), and Frieda Langer (1950). How did these 5 people vanish in a 5 year period and what happened to them? Was it just an unlucky coincidence? Or is some sinister force lurking in the shadows of Glastenbury Mountain’s Long Trail?

Welcome to Episode 273: The Bennington Triangle (Ghosts, Aliens, Vampires, Bigfoot, & Murder)! Above a thick canopy of broadleaf trees protrudes Glastenbury Mountain. Located in southwestern Vermont’s Green Mountain National Forest, this 3,700-foot landmark is nestled in the center of a mysterious region that has come to be known as The Bennington Triangle. Within the bounds of the Bennington Triangle, ghostly apparitions appear in the thick fog, whispering warnings to hikers who dare brave the paths leading to the mountain’s peak; dark triangular UFOs hover over the streams that snake their way down the granite rocks before disappearing into darkened thickets; and from 1945 to 1950, 5 people vanished into what some speculate is an interdimensional portal, never to be seen or heard from again. On today’s episode of Let’s Get Haunted, we get lost in the eerie stillness of Vermont’s Bennington Triangle: clawing our way past the brambles, plugging our ears from the noise of beckoning ghosts, and dodging brilliant beams of light cast down from alien aircraft above.
