Welcome back to the Let’s be friends podcast for a special episode; this one is not to be missed, unless of course you don’t want to know what the purpose of life is. In this episode I discuss something very important that happened to me last week and how it took me 42 years to get to.

We are all searching for something in this life, trying to fill that emptiness inside of us. Some of us have been traumatized; others are fighting addiction or deep loss. Whatever your afflictions have been, I want to share with you the real medicine to heal you. As many of you know, I have been through a lot of mental anguish, at times feeling as though I have been quite literally fighting demons for my life. Join me as I share the part of my testimony that explains the complex mental health journey I was on in my life. After being misdiagnosed as bipolar for 8 years and taking 30,000 pills I never needed, I finally found the healing I was really looking for.

Welcome back to the Let’s be friends podcast! Back on the show is contributor urfavwretch, also known as Lala and the host of the Balanced Banter Podcast.

Join us as we discuss how we have both been on a similar journey the past few years, having both left the New Age behind in 2021 after finding Christ and then both entering Protestant churches, until… we found the Orthodox church.

We also have an unfiltered conversation about dispensationalism and how it sparked futurism, a Christian eschatological view that interprets portions of the Book of Revelation and other apocalyptic sections of the Bible as future "end-time" events. We discuss other fruits of the dispensationalist movement, like its literal interpretation of the Bible, particularly in relation to Old Testament prophecies and God's promises to Israel. We also talk about who created the pre-tribulation rapture and why it won’t be happening.

Buck is the host of the podcast “Counterflow with Buck Johnson.” He is also a musician, firefighter, and Orthodox Christian. In this episode we are going to hear Buck’s testimony of how he went from being an atheist to an Orthodox Christian.

In this episode of the Let’s Be Friends podcast, I share four words that recently changed my life: “May it be blessed”.

With all the chaos surrounding us in the world today, I thought I would share something that has positively shifted my life. The concept is from a book of transcribed homilies by Elder Symeon on saying the prayer "May it be blessed" as a means to advance in the spiritual life and subject one's will to God. It is considered more powerful than even the Jesus Prayer.

I also share another new phenomenon I discovered, crickets and their hidden heavenly song.
