    This conjunction is often written in the hiragana alone and implies that something is more-so whatever it was before. It can also be used as a side note also well. This conjuction also, though it can be used in the beginning of a sentence can also serve a similar function in the middle of a sentence between two clauses; of parts of the sentence.
