    In this English lesson I'll help you learn the English vocabulary for some of the items that you use each day. I'll be honest. I took the list from the last English lesson on everyday items and I walked around my house and added anything I saw that wasn't in that lesson.

    So to be accurate, these are items that I use almost daily from the time I get up in the morning until the time I go to bed at night. There are so many things we all use throughout the day. In this free English class I'll not only teach you the vocabulary for these items, I'll also show you many of them during the lesson as I've put them in a basket beside my desk. During the class I will also give you numerous phrases that you can use to talk about them.

    How to Talk About FLOWERS in English! Jun 25, 2022

    Do you want to learn English words and phrases so you can talk about flowers? Jen and I are flower growers, so we are surrounded by them. I'm going to take some to show you some of our flower growing areas and you'll learn how to use some English phrases to talk about flowers.
    In this English lesson I will teach you some English words and phrases about flowers. I'll talk about the events where flowers are commonly used, and you'll learn words and phrases like pruners, special occasion, get well soon, to lift one's spirits, corsage, and more. You'll also learn the basic English words for the parts of the flower.
    Each year around this time I like to create an English lesson about flowers. I like to make a lesson like this because I live on a flower farm and it is fun to share the beauty! Jen and I have been growing flowers for many years and we love it. It's always fun to combine my farming job with my English teaching on Youtube.

    How to Use the Verb TO HAVE in the Imperative Jun 11, 2022

    As you learn English you'll want to be able to wish people well, or indicate that you hope they'll enjoy something. Maybe you just want to show them something interesting, or give them something. All of those things are done using the verb TO HAVE in the imperative.
    In this English lesson you'll learn to wish people well when they leave on a trip, how to get their attention, or simply how to ask them to do something quickly and efficiently using the imperative.

    Can you learn English by talking to strangers? Should you talk to strangers? If you want to learn a few more English words, and you want to have English speaking conversations, this lesson has some tips for you!
    If you've recently moved to an English speaking country, or if you're visiting one, I'll show you when and where it's appropriate to have English conversations with strangers. After all, who wouldn't enjoy practicing their English speaking skills with a native speaker?
