    A Manhattan grand jury indicted Luigi Mangione for murder as an act of terrorism in the death of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, according to newly released court documents. Mangione faces 11 counts, including one of murder in the first-degree and two of murder in the second-degree in Thompson’s killing on December 4 in New York, along with other weapon and forgery charges, the indictment says.

    2nd Grade Student On Shooting: Teacher Was Screaming “Help!” Dec 17, 2024

    The shooter who opened fire at the Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, Wisconsin, was a 15-year-old female student, Police Chief Shon Barnes said Monday. She died of a self-inflicted gunshot, he said. The shooting left one student and one teacher dead and six injured, including two people who are facing life-threatening conditions, Barnes said.
