    Donald Trump has talked about registering and tracing Muslims living across the United States. Immigration attorney Matthew Kolken joins us to discuss the legalities of such a registry as well as where we have seen this before.

    There was a lot of talk about the importance of the Latino vote in the 2016 presidential election and many Latinos voted for Trump despite his anti-Latino stances for most of his campaign. NBC Latino contributor Stephen Nuño breaks down the myths and facts surrounding this topic.

    Finally, we talk with Leslie Otañez, Campaign Program Associate from the Drug Policy Action. Leslie talks to us about Proposition 64, which legalized recreational marijuana in California.

We start the show with César Vargas (yes, another César Vargas), one of the leading immigrant rights leaders in the country. He will give us his take on the election and tell us what he thinks the Democrats got wrong this time around.

    Later, Arizona Public Policy Director for Center for Neighborhood Leadership, Viridiana Hernandez joins us. Viridiana has been part of the fight to oust Sheriff Joe Arpaio out of office for his discrimination practices against Latinos. Arpaio was voted out of office November 8. She will tell us what this means for her and the Latino community and how will they work with Paul Penzone to rebuild trust in Maricopa County.

    On September 28, former immigrant detainees confronted head of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson outside a public speaking event to demand he address the crisis inside immigrant detention centers and cut the department’s contracts with private prisons.

    Jacinta Gonzalez, Field Director of Mijente/Not1More Deportation campaign, gave us more details about Secretary Johnson's response to the confrontation.

    Later in the show, West Virginia University student, Kasey, who recently wrote a "controversial" letter to the university's president asking him to begin a discussion addressing the cultural issues on campus. Kasey will give us an update on the situation.
