Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou was in desperate need of a lift after Thursday's flat display in their Europa League defeat at AZ Alkmaar and had Cristian Romero back, but watched the Cherries roar into a 2-0 lead. 'Spurs Gift AZ Advantage' Mar 07, 2025

Show notes

Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Adam Osper, Patrick Tyrant and Marlon via Spurs Kings TV as Tottenham must beat AZ next week to keep their faint silverware hopes alive after Lucas Bergvall's freak own goal gave the Dutch side a 1-0 lead in their Europa League last-16 tie.

Despite resting Heung-Min Son and Djed Spence in their last game against Manchester City eight days ago, Spurs' freshness did little to help them as their hosts dominated from start to finish and were unfortunate not to win by a greater margin.

AZ, who are sixth in the Dutch Eredivisie, were deserved victors and could have won by more. Their biggest chance to score a goal themselves came when Troy Parrott, who left Spurs for £6.7m in the summer, was sent through on goal but denied by the foot of Vicario. Lucas Bergvall was unfortunate to score the own goal when Parrott played a ball across and the Tottenham midfielder badly sliced his clearance which Djed Spence was unable to head off the line. Spurs' only registered shot on target was probably not even a shot - with Wilson Odobert's cross palmed away.

'City Sink Rotated Spurs' Feb 27, 2025

Show notes

Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Actors Darren Hartman, TJ Ramini and Marlon Via Spurs Kings TV as Erling Haaland's 20th Premier League goal of the season took Man City to a 1-0 win at Tottenham and back into the top four. The Norwegian turned home from close range from Jeremy Doku's cross 12 minutes in and that proved to be enough - although he also saw a stoppage-time strike in the second half scrubbed off for a handball given by ref Jarred Gillet.

That could have been a controversial moment, with it unclear whether the ball did actually hit the striker's arm during a challenge from Kevin Danso and VAR unable to conclusively overturn the call - but Pape Sarr headed over his glorious chance at the other end in the final seconds.

Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Jason McGovern, Actor TJ Ramini and TV/Film Director Simon Yemane as a battling performance at Portman Road yielded four goals and three points on Saturday afternoon as we put Ipswich Town to the sword in some style.

With the home side desperate for points in their fight against relegation, Ipswich made us work hard for the win but we matched them for effort and determination and then let our football do the talking with two goals in each half to secure our third straight Premier League win. Brennan Johnson, making his first league start since early January, scored his first Spurs brace to fire us into a 2-0 lead before Omari Hutchinson reduced the arrears. And, after we’d survived a couple of scares in the second half, superb goals from Djed Spence and Dejan Kulusevski put the game out of reach of the hosts and gave us our first win at Portman Road since August, 1994.
