Stay ConnectedLady Lucy is an audio drama inspired by Shakespeare’s “Dark Lady” Sonnets, 127-154.
Between running her brothel, fighting the Church, murdering her friends’ abusive husbands, and pretending to be a poet, the last thing Lucy needed back in 1586 was a surprise visit from her former flame… Will Shakespeare.

This fifth part is where our tale halts, for now, our cast of characters must take a temporary bow. But before it ends, I promise, our tale picks up, with Will returning to tup and sup. Outside the Foin Inn, he scouts the premises. He’s always been one for dramatic entrances. But unless he’s come as a physician or a nurse, Will’s timing couldn’t be worse…

At last we met, Lucy was quite surprised. Mary Milbourne had just been hanged, she still had tears in her eyes. Lucy returned to her inn, hoping to light a candle, instead she was bombarded by Bishop Thomas Randall.

Lucy's tale picks up here, still no sign of that "Will Shakespeare." His reemergence would certainly change the game. But, back to Phillip calling his wife Lucy's name...

Here is where our story begins, not too far from Lucy’s inn. Where African immigrants by the hundred’s dwell, north of London… in Clerkenwell.
