    When Real Madrid Played Their B Team in the Copa del Rey Final Nov 28, 2019

    In this episode, we tell the story of the 1980 Copa del Rey final, which was held at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu between Real Madrid's first team and Castilla, the Real Madrid B team. It was a unique situation, one that had never happened before and that has never happened since.


    Setting the scene, Román de Arquer (@Aeroslavee) gives a brief history of Castilla. Alex Fitzpatrick (@Mallorcalex100) then explains how they got to the final, killing some giants along the way. Paco Polit (@pacopolitENG) explains how the match itself played out.
